No Ordinary Girl

No Ordinary Girl is the debut album by Jordan Pruitt, released in the United States on February 6, 2007 by Hollywood Records. The album debuted and peaked at number sixty-four on the Billboard 200 with 14,000 copies sold in its first week and to date has sold 187,887 in the United States. This album had moderate success because of the songs included in the Disney Channel movie Read It and Weep and Jump In. Pruitt supported the album with the The Cheetah Girls The Party's Just Begun Tour and High School Musical: The Concert.

"Ordinary Girl" is vocalist Alison Moyet's second single of 1987 from the album Raindancing.

The single failed to enter the UK top 40, peaking at #43 for a total of four weeks, the first single of Moyet's to fail the top 40 at the time. Moyet's previous single "Love Letters" peaked at #4 in the UK.

A promotional video was created for the single as well as Moyet performing the song on ITV's short lived music show The Roxy and the "French & Saunders Show". The song was also performed on "Pop goes New Year 1987" aboard the HMS Royal ship. She performed two other songs on the ship, "Is This Love?" and "Blow Wind Blow", both from the same album.

"Ordinary Girl" was written by Moyet along with British musician Jess Bailey and Rick Driscoll.

The b-side for the single "Palm Of Your Hand (Cloak And Dagger)" was exclusive to the single, written and produced by Dan Hartman.
