Leonard–Durán II

Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Roberto Durán II, also known as the No Más Fight, is one of the most famous fights in boxing history. It took place on November 25, 1980 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, United States and was the second of three bouts between the pair. It gained its famous appellation from the moment at the end of the eighth round when Durán turned away from Leonard towards the referee and quit by saying, "No más" (Spanish for "No more").

Pre-fight

Their first fight took place on June 20, 1980 in Montreal. Leonard was defending the WBC Welterweight Championship for the second time. Durán was the WBC #1 welterweight contender.

Leonard abandoned his usual slick boxing style and stood flat-footed with Durán. Leonard, angry with Durán over his numerous insults, wanted to beat Durán at his own game. The tactic resulted in a great fight but a losing effort. Durán won by decision. The scores were 148-147, 145-144, and 146-144. The bitter words between the two fighters, coupled with the close result, virtually guaranteed a rematch.

Breaking Bad (season 3)

The third season of the American television drama series Breaking Bad premiered on March 21, 2010 and concluded on June 13, 2010. It consisted of 13 episodes, each running approximately 47 minutes in length. AMC broadcast the third season on Sundays at 10:00 pm in the United States. The complete third season was released on Region 1 DVD and Region A Blu-ray on June 7, 2011.

Season 3 saw actors Bob Odenkirk, Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks, who play Saul, Gus and Mike respectively, upgraded to main cast status after guest starring the previous season, although they are not credited for every episode until season 4.

Plot

As the city of Albuquerque deals with the aftermath of the mid-air collision, Walter confesses his meth cooking to Skyler, putting tension in their marriage.

Gus approaches Walter about his meth cooking in an underground lab with the latest equipment. Walter is initially reluctant until Jesse starts cooking meth in the RV. Walter is introduced to Gale, a skilled chemist chosen by Gus to assist in the lab. Meanwhile Tuco Salamanca's two cousins make their way to Albuquerque to avenge Tuco's death, under their uncle Hector's orders. Gus is able to call them off and instead offers them Walter's brother-in-law Hank, the one that killed Tuco.

No Mas (album)

No Más is the debut studio album by production duo Javelin, consisting of cousins George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk.

Development

Formed in 2005, Javelin had previously independently released a demo album, Jamz n Jemz, as well two limited 12-inches on the label Thrill Jockey, Javelin and Number Two. Having 100 tracks they had previously made for years, all varying in styles and how they were recorded, the challenge of making No Mas was in how the duo would choose what songs would be on the album, and how those songs would fit together on the record. Langford explained, "we were mainly just aiming to just occupy a sonic space that was sort of warm and inviting. An album is almost like an imagined space, it’s like where does this take place, where does this sound bring you? And so we basically just tried to make a cohesive album with those things in mind."

Keyboards, live percussion, guitars, bass guitars and drums were used in the making of No Mas. The duo studio-recorded real drums for a few cuts, and then added samples of an older drum kit from years ago into those recordings. They making that producing the songs are "basically like these tracks are like our children that we totally put out into the world ourselves", saying that only one song was mixed on the album. Scotty "Scotty Hard" Harding was credited on the release as handling the recording and mixing, and the duo enjoyed working with him in the studio, although at first they were a bit nervous, as they were dictators regarding how their songs would be re-adjusted.
