Niti Taylor

Niti Taylor is an Indian television actress. She is best known for her role of Nandini Murthy in MTV's popular youth show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and her onscreen chemistry with Parth Samthaan is very much appreciated. Niti Taylor has also appeared in episodics like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, MTV Webbed, Heroes, Confessions of Indian Teenager, Savdhaan India, and she has also featured on GEC big brand shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hai, Sarvagun Sampanna. She has also starred in 3 Telugu movies. Niti has been ranked as the Sexiest Asian Newcomer for 2015 in Easter Eye's survey of sexiest Asian women. She also featured on cover interview for the same newspaper.

Nickel titanium

Nickel titanium, also known as nitinol (part of shape memory alloy), is a metal alloy of nickel and titanium, where the two elements are present in roughly equal atomic percentages e.g. Nitinol 55, Nitinol 60.

Nitinol alloys exhibit two closely related and unique properties: shape memory effect (SME) and superelasticity (SE) (also called pseudoelasticity (PE)). Shape memory is the ability of nitinol to undergo deformation at one temperature, then recover its original, undeformed shape upon heating above its "transformation temperature". Superelasticity occurs at a narrow temperature range just above its transformation temperature; in this case, no heating is necessary to cause the undeformed shape to recover, and the material exhibits enormous elasticity, some 10-30 times that of ordinary metal.

History

The term nitinol is derived from its composition and its place of discovery: (Nickel Titanium-Naval Ordnance Laboratory). William J. Buehler along with Frederick Wang, discovered its properties during research at the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in 1959. William Buehler was attempting to make a better missile nose cone, which could resist fatigue, heat and the force of impact. Having found that a 1:1 alloy of nickel and titanium could do the job, in 1961 he presented a sample at a laboratory management meeting. The sample, folded up like an accordion, was passed around and flexed by the participants. One of them applied heat from his pipe lighter to the sample and, to everyone's surprise, the accordion-shaped strip stretched and took its previous shape.

Armstechno NITI

NITI (Bulgarian: НИТИ) is a very light-weight, stealthy remote-controlled Bulgarian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It has been designed and constructed in 2006 by Armstechno Co. It mounts a color surveillance camera, a thermal vision camera, and has an option for adding chemical and radioactive contamination dosimeters. Its main tasks are air surveillance of contaminated areas, regions with possible terrorist group activity, artillery correction or observation of natural disaster-stricken areas. NITI has a maximum fuel capacity of 38 l. It also has a programmable autopilot system and GPS system.

In 2011, NITI was evaluated by the Ministry of the Interior (MI) of Bulgaria, but the design was rejected due to numerous defects, an unreliable design and the inability of the aircraft to perform its tasks. The CEO of Armstechno Co. blamed the unsatisfactory performance of its UAVs on the poor training of MI operators.

Taylor is an unincorporated community in northeastern Marion County, Missouri, United States. It is located at the northern junction of U.S. Routes 24 and 61. It is about five miles west of Quincy, Illinois and eight miles north of Palmyra.

The community is part of the Hannibal Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Taylor sept

Taylor is a sept ("branch") of Clan Cameron, a Scottish clan. Present day members of the Taylor sept hold the Scottish surname Taylor.

Sept namebearer

Some members of the Taylor sept are descendents of Donald Cameron ('Taillear Dubh na Tuaighe'), who lived in the Scottish Highlands Lochaber area ("Cameron country") circa mid 16th century. Others, with no documented connection to Taillear Dubh na Tuaighe or the Clan Cameron, are simply descended from those with an occupational surname meaning tailor. Though Donald's father was XIV Chief of Clan Cameron, Donald, born out of wedlock, could not inherit the title. Nursed by a tailor's wife, Donald received the nickname An Taillear Dubh (an, a diminutive; Taillear, an occupational reference to the caretaker's husband; Dubh, translated as "black" in the context of meaning "swarthy" or "dark tempered") as an infant.

As a young man, Donald became skilled in battle with the Lochaber axe, and his nickname evolved to Taillear Dubh na Tuaighe ("Black Taylor of the Axe") because of his fighting prowess. Taylor and his family eventually found safety in Cowal. There, descendents of his family and followers became known as Mac-an-taillear ("son of the tailor").
