Iłów

Iłów [ˈiwuf] is a village in Sochaczew County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Iłów. It lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Sochaczew and 68 km (42 mi) west of Warsaw.

The village has a population of 690.

Interstate 69W

Interstate 69W (I-69W) is a north–south Interstate Highway running through South Texas in the United States. Once complete the freeway will begin in the middle of the World Trade International Bridge in Laredo and head northward for 180 miles (290 km) before terminating near Victoria as both I-69E and I-69W merge to form I-69. For its entire length, I-69W runs concurrently with US Highway 59 (US 59).

Route description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approved the designation of a 1.4-mile (2.3 km) section of freeway in Laredo as part of I-69W. The congressionally designated I-69W corridor begins at the Mexican border at the World Trade International Bridge, which connects to Mexican Federal Highway 85D, at the border in Laredo. It is co-signed with both US 59 and Loop 20 and extends 1.4 miles (2.3 km) to I-35 (which connects to Mexican Federal Highway 85 south of the border).

In the future, I-69W will continue along US 59 east to George West, where it will intersect I-69C, it will then intersect I-37 east of George West, and it will then continue east to Victoria. The completed I-69W will measure 180 miles (290 km). There are also plans to turn State Highway 44 (SH 44) into an Interstate Highway between Freer, where it will intersect I-69W, and Corpus Christi, about 73 miles (117 km) in order to have a network of Interstate Highways connecting Laredo, the largest inland port on the United States–Mexican border, with Corpus Christi, a major seaport and manufacturing center.

The Northern Illinois Conference (NIC-10) is a high school athletic conference consisting of nine high public schools and one Catholic school in Illinois' Boone, Stephenson, and Winnebago Counties. Member schools are also full members of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), and are among the larger schools in that area, all competing in Class AA (in the two class system) of IHSA competitions.

History

The conference was originally founded as the Big 7 in 1919 and included Freeport High School, Rockford Central High School, Joliet High School, Elgin High School, DeKalb High School, Aurora East High School, and Aurora West High School. DeKalb left the conference in 1929, and was replaced by LaSalle-Peru High School. In the spring of 1940, Rockford High School closed with the opening of Rockford West and Rockford East high schools in the fall of 1940 (and the conference naturally became the Big 8). In 1960, Joliet High School left and quickly was replaced by the newly constructed Rockford Auburn High School. In 1963, Aurora East, Aurora West, and Elgin high schools departed, and were immediately replaced by Harlem High School, Belvidere High School, and the newly opened Rockford Guilford High School. 1964 saw LaSalle-Peru leave after being a member of the conference for 35 years and Boylan Central Catholic High School join. The addition of Rockford Jefferson High School in 1971 forced the conference to change their name to the Big 9.
