Nick Bell (businessman)

Nick Bell (born 17 December 1983) is Senior Vice President of Product at News Corporation. He is known for his entrepreneurial ventures setting up a group of websites during the dot com boom of the late nineties, and earning almost a million pounds (between 100,000 and 500,000 in cash) and stock from the sale of Teenfront.com at the age of 16. His later ventures included a sunbed and spray tanning company inside Tesco stores and an audiovisual equipment company. Bell attended The Royal Grammar School, Newcastle.

He is a regular on the UK speaker network encouraging young people to start up businesses.

Business activities

Bell formed Teenfront.com with Robbie Hodgkiss in 1998 at the age of 14, he later sold the business to Rools.com, a teenage payment solution provider. He went on to found numerous other (now non-existent) dot com startups including: Studentmax.com, SnapaJob.com.

In 2002 Nick Bell launched ZeroPlus a high growth audio visual technology business. Nick sold his shareholding in early 2006.

Nick Bell (born on 14 August 1980) is an Australian businessman who was the founder and Managing Director of Melbourne-based digital marketing agency, WME. Bell founded the company with $400 in 2008 and seven years later, was reported to be turning over $46 million annually.

Early Life

Born in country Victoria, Nick was raised on a small sheep and cattle farm. He attended Mowbray High School, then went on to Victoria University, Australia. His business ventures started at a young age, when he decided to barter off sandwiches to school friends to fund an overseas trip. Admitting to never being very study driven, Bell obtained a 57/100 for his high school enter score, before spending six months working at various bars across London. When Bell returned to Melbourne, he attempted to get back into study and spent six weeks in a business degree before dropping out. At age 24, he launched his first business selling skincare products to treat acne, but it was ultimately unsuccessful.
