New Rochelle High School

New Rochelle High School (NRHS) is a public high school, comprising grades 9 through 12, in New Rochelle, New York, operated by the City School District of New Rochelle. NRHS serves over 3,300 students; offering more than 240 courses, including honors, research and advanced courses.

NRHS students are known for ranking highly in SAT test scores for Westchester County. 96% of graduates attend college or other institutions of higher learning. NRHS students earn accolades in competitive national programs including the National Merit Scholarship programs and the Intel Science Talent Search.

New Rochelle has been ranked in the top 2% of high schools in the nation by Newsweek since 2000—it is also one of the most diverse high schools in the country; its student body represents 60 countries from around the world. NRHS is a two-time Blue Ribbon School, the highest honor that an American school can achieve. NRHS is accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Secondary Schools.

New Rochelle /rəˈʃɛl/ is a city in Westchester County, New York, United States, in the southeastern portion of the state.

In 2007, the city had a population of 73,260, making it the seventh-largest in the state of New York. As of the 2010 Census, the city's population had increased to 77,062. In 2008, New Rochelle was recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) as one of the 100 Best Walking Cities in the United States, and the second best in New York State after nearby New York City. In November 2008 Business Week magazine listed New Rochelle as the best city in New York State, and one of the best places nationally, to raise children. In 2014, New Rochelle was voted a best city to live in. Five hundred and fifty cities with a population greater than 65,000 were evaluated based on several factors. New Rochelle (Metro-North station)

New Rochelle is a Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak train station in New Rochelle, New York. The station serves Metro-North's New Haven Line and Amtrak's Northeast Regional; Bee-Line Bus System buses serve a bus stop just outside the station. It is 16.6 miles (26.7 km) from Grand Central Terminal and the average travel time is 36 minutes with some peak hour runs originating/terminating at New Rochelle being up to 10 minutes shorter in duration. As of August 2006, weekday commuter ridership was 4,020, and there are 1,381 parking spots. It is the busiest New Haven Line station in Westchester County.

On October 14, 2009, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The NRHP listing is limited to the historic station building and just the land underneath its roofline, as the pedestrian bridge elevators, track and other associated structure is all much newer and lack historical merit. The building was built in 1887 for the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad. The architect of the building is unknown; it was built by George O. Hawes, a local builder. The building was remodelled in 1931.

Rochelle High School or Rochelle School is a public high school located in unincorporated Rochelle, Texas (USA) and classified as a 1A school by the UIL. It is part of the Rochelle Independent School District located in eastern McCulloch County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Rochelle is notable for winning the 2008 and 2009 Class A girl's state track titles, based on the strength of Texas A&M University signee Bonnie Richardson, who was the school's only state qualifier in 2008 and the sole member of the girl's track team in 2009.
