Neverland

Neverland is a fictional location featured in the works of J. M. Barrie and those based on them. It is the dwelling place of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys and others. Although not all people in Neverland cease to age, its best known resident famously refused to grow up, and it is often used as a metaphor for eternal childhood (and childishness), immortality, and escapism. It was first introduced as "the Never Never Land" in the theatre play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up by Scottish writer J. M. Barrie, first staged in 1904.

In his 1911 novelization Peter and Wendy, Barrie referred to "the Neverland", and its many variations "the Neverlands". In the earliest drafts of Barrie's play, the island was called "Peter's Never Never Never Land", a name possibly influenced by "the Never Never", a contemporary term for outback Australia. In the 1928 published version of the script, it was shortened to "the Never Land". Neverland has been featured prominently in subsequent works, either adapting Barrie's works or expanding upon them. These Neverlands sometimes vary in nature from the original.

List of Dawson's Creek episodes

Dawson's Creek, an American television series, was created by Kevin Williamson, who was the executive producer until the end of the show's second season. Paul Stupin shared the executive producer role until Williamson left, and remained until the series finale along with Tom Kapinos and Greg Prange. It is produced by Outerbanks Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television.

The series stars James Van Der Beek as Dawson Leery, an aspiring film maker. Katie Holmes portrays his best friend and love interest Joey Potter, with Joshua Jackson as their fellow best friend Pacey Witter. Michelle Williams plays Jen Lindley, who moves from New York to Capeside after being sent away by her parents. Kerr Smith and Meredith Monroe plays siblings Jack and Andie McPhee.

Between January 20, 1998 and May 14, 2003, Dawson's Creek aired six seasons on the American television network The WB, the first a mid-season replacement and the following five as regular seasons. One hundred and twenty-eight episodes were produced over the show's six-year run, and concluded with a two-hour series finale. All six seasons are available on DVD in Regions 1, 2 and 4.

Neverland (The Mission album)

Neverland is the sixth regular studio album by The Mission. It was released on the 1 February 1995 by Equator Records (UK) and Sony (Europe) and reached #58 in the UK Albums Chart. It was preceded by the single 'Swoon' while a second single 'Lose Myself In You' was released in Germany only. An expanded version appeared on the 7 March 2011 through Demon Edsel Records.

Background

The album was recorded and produced by Hussey and the band over a three year period. The first tracks were produced in 1992 on the back of the Masque sessions. After the departure of Craig Adams the Mission has been reduced to a duo and active recruitment of new members took place over the last three months of 1992. Thwaite and Carter joined together with Matthew Parkin on bass. The latter left at the start of 1993 to be replaced by the former The Pretenders bassist Andy Hobson. His tenure was equally short until Andy Cousin of the recently folded All About Eve became a permanent member. In August 1993 Hussey revealed in the Melody Maker that the album was provisionally called Dog Lover and that Joe Gibb had again assisted with the production. Tracks such as "Raising Cain", "Afterglow" and Daddy's Gone To Heaven" had been recorded by this stage, while "Swoon" was listed among the songs Hussey mentioned. After the ClubMission Tour of 1993, the band were told by their label that the new material had been rejected.

Fuego (La Secta album)

Fuego is the fifth studio album released by Puerto Rican rock band La Secta. The album was released on November 24, 2008 by Sony International. It has already spawned two singles: "No Puedes Parar" and "Déjalos Que Hablen".

The band members have said that the album was an attempt to return to a more "organic sound and less fused", similar to their first albums.

El Mariel

El Mariel is the second studio album by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. It features production from Lil Jon, Diaz Brothers, DJ Khaled, Mr. Collipark, The Neptunes and Jim Jonsin. It includes guest appearances from Lil Jon, Twista and Trick Daddy. A Spanish-language version of the album was released on October 31, 2006 featuring the three singles from El Mariel, along with twelve Spanish-only tracks. The album leaked onto the internet on October 27, 2006.

El Mariel debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 17, selling 48,000 copies that week; this was also the album's peak on the chart. The album has sold over a total of 214,000 copies.

Critical reception

David Jeffries of AllMusic noted that the album's political aspect is misleading, but praised it for having catchy party music mixed with the serious tracks and Pitbull for showing a little depth in his lyrical repertoire, concluding that, "While it's hard to deny the more mature Pitbull is something that needs to be explored further, it's just as hard to deny the rump-shaking, trunk-rumbling stunners he drops all over the album." Steve 'Flash' Juon of RapReviews praised the album's reggaeton sound and Pitbull's improvement as a lyricist and musician, concluding that, "Hip-Hop in South Florida is now more universal than ever thanks in large part to Pitbull's infectious flow and machismo." Agustin Gurza of the Los Angeles Times praised the album for conveying an artist that carries multiple dimensions and facets of a lived life, saying "we meet a Pitbull who is even likable and vulnerable."

Fuego (producer)

Fuego is a Grammy-nominated multi-platinum record producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, member of The Recording Academy. Fuego started out his career as a DJ/Producer in Berlin, Germany by producing the bulk of Aggro Ansage Nr. 4, one of the few European hip-hop albums to reach gold status. The album was a critical and commercial success in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands and Fuego went on to produce for some of the biggest German hip-hop artists such as Sido, B-Tight, Aggro Berlin etc. He is also a professional composer of advertising music in Germany and the U.S., providing music for corporate clients like Ford, BMW, Audi, BET, and Capri Sun.

Fuego's first release in the U.S. was "Whatcha Say", the debut single by American recording artist Jason Derulo, produced in collaboration with J. R. Rotem and samples the song "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. "Whatcha Say" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming Fuego's first number-one hit. With over 30 million MySpace plays and 3 million iTunes downloads it remains one of the biggest hits of 2009.
