Never Alone, also known as Kisima Inŋitchuŋa ("I am not alone"), is a puzzle-platformer video game by Upper One Games. Swapping between an Iñupiaq girl named Nuna and her Arctic fox companion, the player completes puzzles in a story based on Alaskan indigenous stories told in eight chapters. The game was the result of a partnership between the Cook Inlet Tribal Council and E-Line Media. It is one of a growing number of Video Games Produced by Indigenous People.

Gameplay

The player-character plays as the Iñupiaq girl Nuna and her Arctic fox. As an "atmospheric puzzle platformer",Never Alone's puzzles entail swapping control between Nuna and the fox. While the fox is fast, Nuna can pick up things and open new areas using her bola. Its story is based around Alaskan indigenous folklore and restoring balance in "eternal blizzard" by visiting its source. Stories include that of Blizzard Man, the Little People, Manslayer, the Rolling Heads, and the Sky People. It is split into eight chapters. The game is based on the intergenerational transference of wisdom. It takes place in a harsh physical environment.

Never Alone (Jim Brickman song)

"Never Alone" is a song written by Gary Burr, Sarah Buxton, and Victoria Shaw and recorded by American songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman. Originally recorded with American country music singer Sara Evans on vocals for his 2006 album, Escape, it was famously re-recorded with American country pop trio Lady Antebellum for its release as a single. This latter version was released to digital retailers through Savoy Records on February 20, 2007 and impacted American adult contemporary radio that spring. Lady Antebellum's female vocalist, Hillary Scott, is sometimes credited individually as a featured artist alongside Lady Antebellum.

"Never Alone" is primarily a new-age song with additional influences of country and pop genres and is instrumented primarily by piano. Its lyrics discuss the idea of unconditional love and support as well as the importance of holding onto one's faith through difficult times.

The song was released to generally positive reviews, who complimented its country crossover appeal, and was a success on adult contemporary radio. It peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary airplay chart in July 2007, earning Brickman his 22nd entry on the chart and 13th top-15 hit. Furthermore, the song was Lady Antebellum's first entry on a Billboard chart before their proper debut single, "Love Don't Live Here", was released in October of that year; they would later match this position with their own single, "I Run to You" in 2009 before topping the AC chart with "Need You Now" that same year.

Robert Smith (Cumberland cricketer)

Robert Smith (born February 1, 1982) was an English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman who played for Cumberland.

Smith made a single List A appearance for the team, in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy in August 2001. He scored 3 runs in his innings, as opponents Warwickshire CB won by a narrow margin, thanks mostly to a century from Jim Troughton.

Robert Smith (professor)

Robert Sidney Smith (31 January 1919 – 29 November 2009 in London, England) was an expert on the history of the Yoruba people of Nigeria and was a Senior Lecturer and then Professor of History at the universities of Lagos, Ife and Ibadan. He was born on 31 January 1919. For many years he lived near Kew Gardens in London and died in London on 29 November 2009.

Smith studied and taught at the Institute of African Studies in the University of Ibadan in Nigeria from its foundation in 1962.
