Nathan Peats (born 5 October 1990) is a rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. He primarily plays as a hooker, but can also fill in at lock.
The son of former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs hooker Geordi Peats, his schooling was completed at Christian Brothers' High School Lewisham. Peats was a South Sydney Junior who played for the La Perouse Panthers.
Peats was Souths' Under 20s captain, scoring 14 tries in 46 Toyota Cup games. He captained the 2010 Under-20s South Sydney Rabbitohs team all the way to their grand final alongside team-mates Adam Reynolds, Dylan Farrell and Josh Starling, where they lost to the New Zealand Warriors 42-28.
On 1 April 2011, Peats made his NRL Premiership début for the Rabbitohs against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Bluetongue Stadium. Peats played in the Indigenous All Stars in 2012 and 2013, and represented City Origin in 2013. In June 2013, Peats signed a three-year deal with the Parramatta Eels starting from the 2014 season.
