Narain (actor)

Narain (born 7 October 1979),is an Indian film actor, who has starred in Malayalam and Tamil films.

He made his debut in Adoor Gopalakrishnan's Nizhalkuthu (2002). His performances in 4 the People (2004), Achuvinte Amma (2005), and Classmates (2006) cemented his status as an actor in Malayalam cinema. Narain's Tamil debut was in Mysskin's Chithiram Pesuthadi (2006). He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil for his performance in Anjathe (2008).

Personal life

Narain was born in Kolkata, West Bengal.His father is T.M.Ramakrishnan and his mother is Shantha Kumari. He completed his schooling from The Model School, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. After two and half years of dating, he married a TV host and program producer Manju Haridas on 26 August 2007 in Kozhikode.The couple is blessed with a daughter Tanmayaa Narain.
