Nandana
Nandana or Nandna was a fort built at strategic location on a hilly range on the eastern flanks of the Salt Range in Punjab Pakistan. Its ruins, including those of a town and a temple, are present. It was ruled by the Hindu Shahi kings until, in the early 11th century, Mahmud of Ghazni expelled them from Nandana. Al-Biruni carried out his measurements of the circumference of the Earth here.
Anandapala, the son of Jayapala of the Hindu Shahi dynasty, had erected the Shiva temple in Nandana.
Nandana is the name of the garden owned by Hindu Deva chief 'Indra'. Nandana also means 'Son' in Sanskrit.

Biography
Nandana is an Indian film actress. She handled lead roles and supporting roles during the 2000s in Malayalam and Tamil. She entered Malayalam film field with the Malayalam film Snehithan in 2002. Tamil actress Anjali Aneesh Upasana is her first cousin.
Personal Life
She hails from Thiruvannur, Kozhikode. She married actor Manoj Bharathiraja, son of Tamil director P Bharathiraja, on 19 November 2006. He was her co-star in the film Saadhuriyan. She retired from film industry after marriage. They have two daughters, Arthika and Mathivadani.
