Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille SA ("CNP"), is a Belgian non-listed holding company. Together with Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, CNP is one of the main pillars of Groupe Frère-Bourgeois and can rely on a stable shareholders’ base: it is exclusively controlled by Baron Albert Frère.
CNP directly holds stakes in a number of industrial companies, which at the end of 2014 included:
NPM may stand for:
Nucleoplasmin-3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NPM3 gene.
The protein encoded by this gene is related to the nuclear chaperone phosphoproteins, nucleoplasmin and nucleophosmin. It is highly homologous to the murine Npm3 gene. Based on the structural similarity of the human NPM3 gene product to nucleoplasmin and nucleophosmin, NPM3 may represent a new member of this gene family, and may share basic functions with the molecular chaperones.
Nucleophosmin (NPM), also known as nucleolar phosphoprotein B23 or numatrin, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NPM1 gene.
NPM1 is associated with nucleolar ribonucleoprotein structures and bind single-stranded and double-stranded nucleic acids, but it binds preferentially G-Quadruplex forming nucleic acids. It is involved in the biogenesis of ribosomes and may assist small basic proteins in their transport to the nucleolus. Its regulation through SUMOylation (by SENP3 and SENP5) is another facet of the proteins's regulation and cellular functions.
It is located in the nucleolus, but it can be translocated to the nucleoplasm in case of serum starvation or treatment with anticancer drugs. The protein is phosphorylated.
Nucleophosmin has multiple functions:
Greenbank Airport, (TC LID: CNP8), is located 1 nautical mile (1.9 km; 1.2 mi) south of Greenbank in Scugog, Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario, Canada.
Planes land on turf in summer and on ice and snow in winter. A small hangar and refueling tanks are the few structures at the airport.
On August 1, 2008 at around 9:45am a small plane crashed near the airport. Both people in the plane died. One was the airport owner and manager and the other is unknown. Emergency services attended the scene and left by 11am. The crash scene was near Highway 47 (Ontario) and Highway 12 (Ontario).
Iroquois Airport, (TC LID: CNP7), is located adjacent to Iroquois, Ontario, Canada on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River.
