Imagine TV was a popular Hindi general entertainment channel, owned by Turner Broadcasting System based in New Delhi.
The channel was known for shows like Swayamvar, Meethi Chhori No 1, Jyoti, Ramayan, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Chandragupta Maurya, Junoon, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, Haar Jeet, Seeta Aur Geeta, Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family, Knights vs Angels, Oye! It's Friday!, Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan, Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain, Rakt Sambandh, Main Teri Parchhain Hoon, Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl, Dharampatni, Gunahon Ka Devta, Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto, Shaadi 3 Crore Ki, Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, and Looteri Dulhan. The channel stopped showing new material on 12 April 2012 and broadcast reruns until it finally closed on 11 May 2012.
The channel was established by NDTV Group under the stewardship of former STAR India CEO Sameer Nair. The channel was launched in India on 21 January 2008 as NDTV Imagine. Imagine TV tied up with Karan Johar, the creative consultant and ambassador of the Imagine TV brand. The channel was originally launched by NDTV in partnership with NBCUniversal but NBCUniversal left the partnership in October 2009.
Big Magic International is a Canadian exempt Category B Hindi language specialty channel and is owned by Ethnic Channels Group. It broadcasts programming from Big Magic, Bloomberg UTV and local Canadian content. The Channel has expanded internationally to markets like the US, Canada and Australia, which have an enormous South Asian Diaspora.

Big Magic International was licensed by the CRTC on August 9, 2006 as Hindi TV. It originally launched as NDTV Imagine In November 2009 but was subsequently re-branded as 'Imagine Dil Se' in early 2011.
On April 12, 2012, Turner Broadcasting System announced that they would be shutting down Imagine TV in India due to the channel not performing to their expectations. The channel ceased operations on May 11, 2012.
On June 21, 2012, Imagine Dil Se Canada was re-branded as 'Big Magic International', following the signing of an exclusive deal with Reliance Broadcast Network.
