Sanctuary, is a re-mixable science fiction film which, in 2005, became the first production to sign professional union actors to Creative Commons licensing terms. It is set in Head Bin, a fiction universe created by MOD Films for their remixable movie experiment.
The film was completed in 2009. Most production assets, including principal photography shot on 35mm film and digitised, have been cleared for free-for-non-commercial use. The project is a superhero origin story, as well as a pilot for a massively multi-player feature film and an open interactive story format, the RIG, being developed by MOD Films in London.
The sixth season of the American television medical drama Grey's Anatomy, commenced airing on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) in the United States on September 24, 2009, and concluded on May 20, 2010. The season was produced by ABC Studios, in association with ShondaLand Production Company and The Mark Gordon Company; the showrunner being Shonda Rhimes. Actors Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, and Justin Chambers reprised their roles as surgical residents Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, and Alex Karev, respectively. Heigl was released from her contract in the middle of the season, while T.R. Knight did not appear as George O'Malley, because Knight was released from his contract at the conclusion of season five. Main cast members Patrick Dempsey, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr., Sara Ramirez, Eric Dane, Chyler Leigh, and Kevin McKidd also returned, while previous recurring star Jessica Capshaw was promoted to a series regular, and Kim Raver was given star billing after the commencement of the season.
San or SAN may refer to:
The first Sabre was a former knife thrower named Paul Richarde until he was selected by Modred to oppose Black Knight. Paul Richarde was given an armor, an animated gargoyle. and Mordred's Ebony Dagger (the weapon with which Mordred had killed the first Black Knight). He was defeated by Black Knight after his horse Aragorn kicked the dagger from Le Sabre's hand.
The second Sabre is a mutant super villain. His first appearance was in X-Men #106. Young and reckless, Sabre was chosen by Mystique to join her new Brotherhood of Mutants, though never actually participated in any missions. He had the mutant ability of super speed, and took the name of the deceased Super Sabre. It is unknown if he continues to serve Mystique behind the scenes, or if he even retains his powers after Decimation. Hyper-accelerated metabolism augments his natural speed, reflexes, coordination, endurance, and the healing properties of his body.
A storage area network (SAN) is a network which provides access to consolidated, block level data storage. SANs are primarily used to enhance storage devices, such as disk arrays, tape libraries, and optical jukeboxes, accessible to servers so that the devices appear to the operating system as locally attached devices. A SAN typically has its own network of storage devices that are generally not accessible through the local area network (LAN) by other devices. The cost and complexity of SANs dropped in the early 2000s to levels allowing wider adoption across both enterprise and small to medium-sized business environments.
A SAN does not provide file abstraction, only block-level operations. However, file systems built on top of SANs do provide file-level access, and are known as shared-disk file systems.
Historically, data centers first created "islands" of SCSI disk arrays as direct-attached storage (DAS), each dedicated to an application, and visible as a number of "virtual hard drives" (i.e. LUNs). Essentially, a SAN consolidates such storage islands together using a high-speed network.
Has the world come to an end
When all you see is just a dream
I hear tomorrow's coming
Will I wait and smile again
[Refrain]
Will I ever know (How this life means so much to me)
Will I ever know (Am I awake to see it through the day)
Will I ever end (Is this confusion part of the game)
Will I ever see (My Sanctuary)
I hear my mother's scream again
Cut off these ears will someone please
Chase the shadows of the dark
To keep from falling on my knees
Is love an emotion of the past
A memory fading to prey
It doesn't seem tomorrow
Will I ever be the same again
(Repeat Refrain)
[Chorus]
I need to where I belong
To stop this emptiness
Is there a better world than this
Until the color fades
Run away and see
My sanctuary
Look around for a long forgotten dream
An enchanted fairytale
Wanting to play other games
But it's always been the same
Run away and see
My sanctuary
(Repeat Refrain)
(Repeat Chorus)
Look around for a long forgotten dream
An enchanted fairytale
Wanting to play other games
But it's always been the same
Run away and see
