The majority of programming syndicated by iHeartMedia is distributed through its subsidiary, Premiere Networks. However, several iHeartMedia radio shows are syndicated by their local stations without the aid of Premiere. Talk shows of this type are generally broadcast through Orbital Media Networks, Inc. (formerly Clear Channel Satellite Services); music programs of this type are generally prerecorded and distributed through a company intranet service known as Premium Choice.
The following is a list of radio programs which are syndicated by iHeartMedia but are not distributed by its radio network subsidiary, Premiere Networks. In general, iHeartMedia syndicates a show outside of Premiere either as a cost-cutting measure, or because the show's talent has specifically requested syndication as condition to work for, or continue working for, the company. Talk shows currently syndicated by iHeartMedia are listed in the table below. Talk shows formerly syndicated by iHeartMedia (as Clear Channel Communications) include America's Trucking Network, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, Lex and Terry, MJ Morning Show, Springer on the Radio, The Schnitt Show, and The War Room with Quinn and Rose. Talk shows syndicated by iHeartMedia that have moved to Premiere include Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and The Bobby Bones Show.
Nine Muses (Korean: 나인뮤지스, often stylized as 9MUSES or NINE MUSES) is a South Korean girl group under Star Empire Entertainment. The group derives its name from the nine Muses of the Greek Mythology. The group composed of eight (formerly nine) members: Hyuna, Euaerin, Sungah, Kyungri, Hyemi, Minha, Sojin, and Keumjo. They made their debut in 2010 with the single "No Playboy" from the single album, Let's Have a Party.
The formation of Nine Muses was announced on March 26, 2010. Their first release was on August 12, 2010 with the single album Let's Have a Party. The lead track "No Playboy" is a song produced by composers Rainstone and Park Jin Young. In October, Jaekyung dropped out of the group to focus on her modeling career and was replaced by Hyuna. To advance into the Japanese market, on December 26, 2010, Nine Muses performed six songs on Seoul Train, an event in which K-pop artists and groups perform for their Japanese fans, alongside V.O.S. and ZE:A.
Wild is the fourth extended play (EP) by Australian singer and songwriter Troye Sivan, released on 4 September 2015 by EMI Music Australia. It is Sivan's second extended play released through a major record label after TRXYE.
Sivan embarked on his first U.S. tour titled Troye Sivan Live in support of the EP, later extended to a world tour after announcing Wild was an introduction to his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood.
On 25 July 2015, Sivan announced his fourth extended play at VidCon and described it as an "opening installment, a 6 song keyhole to introduce you guys to all of the music I've got coming in 2015." On 13 October 2015, it was revealed to be an introduction to his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood.
Three songs from Wild were selected to be on the standard edition of the album, while all six songs were transferred to the deluxe edition. Those who had already purchased Wild received a discount to purchase Blue Neighbourhood.
Čika (Zadar, first half of 11th century - Zadar, after 1095; Latin: Chicca) was a Croatian benedictine nun, founder of the benedictine monastery of st. Mary in Zadar. She is also known for the illuminated prayer book known as Čika's book of hours, the oldest prayer book for personal use in Europe.
She was the daughter of Dujam and Vekenega, niece of prior Madi, and the wife of Andrija.
She was the member of the noble patrician family Madi. After the death of her husband in 1066, she founded the monastery of St. Mary in Zadar with the help of her family. King Petar Krešimir IV referred to her as his sister when he placed the monastery under the royal protection, though such geneaology is debated.
She is the mother of Vekenega.
Music is an art form and cultural activity whose medium is sound and silence. The common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and with vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping, and there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "art of the Muses"). In its most general form, the activities describing music as an art form include the production of works of music (songs, tunes, symphonies, and so on), the criticism of music, the study of the history of music, and the aesthetic examination of music. Ancient Greek and Indian philosophers defined music as tones ordered horizontally as melodies and vertically as harmonies. Common sayings such as "the harmony of the spheres" and "it is music to my ears" point to the notion that music is often ordered and pleasant to listen to. However, 20th-century composer John Cage thought that any sound can be music, saying, for example, "There is no noise, only sound."
"Music" is a 2001 hit single by Erick Sermon featuring archived vocals from Marvin Gaye.
The song was thought of by Sermon after buying a copy of Gaye's Midnight Love and the Sexual Healing Sessions album, which overlook some of the original album's earlier mixes. After listening to an outtake of Gaye's 1982 album track, "Turn On Some Music" (titled "I've Got My Music" in its initial version), Sermon decided to mix the vocals (done in a cappella) and add it into his own song. The result was similar to Natalie Cole's interpolation of her father, jazz great Nat "King" Cole's hit, "Unforgettable" revisioned as a duet. The hip hop and soul duet featuring the two veteran performers was released as the leading song of the soundtrack to the Martin Lawrence & Danny DeVito comedy, "What's the Worst That Could Happen?" The song became a runaway success rising to #2 on Billboard's R&B chart and was #1 on the rap charts. It also registered at #21 pop giving Sermon his highest-charted single on the pop charts as a solo artist and giving Gaye his first posthumous hit in 10 years following 1991's R&B-charted single, "My Last Chance" also bringing Gaye his 41st top 40 pop hit. There is also a version that's played on Adult R&B stations that removes Erick Sermon's rap verses. The song was featured in the 2011 Matthew McConaughey film The Lincoln Lawyer.
Well, it was Sunday morning, past Saturday night
As I was sneakin' out the door
I slipped on my best Sunday dress
I was ready for a little bit more
It's shiny red like the sheets on my bed
It might turn a head or two
It's no mystery the man's history
And I'm ready for something new
Well, I've been looking all around this whole damn town
And I've got my eyes on you
And if you're lookin' for adventure
And a little romance
Baby, baby let me lay it out for you
Oh, I know you know what I'm talkin' about
'Cause you're grinnin' like a crocodile
Think about it sugar, honey let your mind go wild
Think about it sugar, honey let your mind go wild
Eye to eye, face to face, dancin' around all over the place
Oh, I know you know what I'm talkin' about
'Cause you ain't no baby child
Hey, think about it sugar, honey let your mind go wild
Come a little closer, they're playin' our song
We're a couple of shootin' stars
Take a trip around the world a time or two
Take a rocket ship to Mars
We don't have to be angels to spread our wings
Defy the laws of gravity
The atmosphere is so sweet up here
Oh darling, we were meant to be
Well, I've been looking all around this whole damn town
And I've got my eyes on you
And if you're lookin' for adventure
And a little romance
Baby, baby let me lay it out for you
Oh, I know you know what I'm talkin' about
'Cause you're grinnin' like a crocodile
Think about it sugar, honey let your mind go wild
Think about it sugar, honey let your mind go wild
Eye to eye, face to face, dancin' around all over the place
Oh, I know you know what I'm talkin' about
'Cause you ain't no baby child
