Cole World: The Sideline Story

Cole World: The Sideline Story is the debut studio album by American rapper J. Cole. The album was released on September 27, 2011 under Dreamville Records and Roc Nation with distribution from Sony Music. The album is his first studio release, following three successful mixtapes. Production was handled mainly by Cole himself, with some production from high-profile producer No I.D. It includes features from Trey Songz, Drake, Jay-Z, and Missy Elliott. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with 218,000 units sold in the first week following its release. The album has since been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The album was one of the most anticipated releases of 2011 due to the sharp rise in Cole's popularity and mainstream fan base. Cole's lyrics perhaps most strikingly deal with issues such as abortion and the consequences of growing up in a fatherless household. However, these themes are incorporated alongside more introspective issues such as relationships, family problems, fame and attempting to be successful - an area which very much links in with the subtitle of the album 'The Sideline Story'. Upon its release, the album was generally well received by critics, who praised the wholesomeness of the album.

Mr Nice (book)

Mr. Nice is the autobiography of former drug dealer Howard Marks. Published in 1996 it became an international bestseller due in large part to the humour and unabashed bravado the author uses to describe his life and the sheer scale of his drug deals involving, amongst others, the CIA, MI6, the IRA and the Mafia. The book received mostly positive reviews, though some critics were initially sceptical of some of the more outlandish details portrayed. It was adapted for film in 2010 as Mr. Nice.

Overview

Welsh born Marks began dealing hashish on a small scale whilst at Oxford University studying nuclear physics and later, a post degree course in philosophy, in the late nineteen sixties.

His activities mushroomed after a chance meeting with a Pakistani supplier made him realise how lucrative drug smuggling could be. After teaming up with Jim McCann, a senior member of the IRA, his business was soon bringing in huge amounts of cash and he began setting up various legitimate businesses as a front, to launder the proceeds of his hashish smuggling. At one time he claims to have had 25 such companies, 89 phone lines and 43 aliases, including the name used for the title of this book, Mr. Nice, an alias he adopted after buying a passport from a convicted murderer of that name.

Nice (/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: ​[nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, and it is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km² (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 8 miles (13 km) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well.

The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

Únice

Únice is a village and municipality (obec) in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 5.58 square kilometres (2.15 sq mi), and has a population of 57 (as at 28 August 2006).

Únice lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Strakonice, 59 km (37 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 95 km (59 mi) south-west of Prague.

Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy

"Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy" is the tenth episode of season 10 and the 149th overall episode of Comedy Central's South Park. It originally aired on October 18, 2006.

This episode parodies the TV series Dog the Bounty Hunter. The episode focuses on a situation involving Kyle Broflovski, his little brother, Ike, Eric Cartman, and the kindergarten teacher, Ms. Stevenson. The episode is rated TV-MA on Comedy Central and TV-14 for suggestive dialogue (D), offensive language (L), and sexual content (S) in syndication.

Plot

Eric Cartman is asked by a hall monitor to go see Principal Victoria. He believes he is in trouble for telling the other boys he made another student sick, but is instead given "authoritah" as the new school hallway monitor. Cartman takes full advantage of his new job, such as by dressing and acting as "Dawg the Hallway Monitor" and by bullying others and threatening them with bear spray. During his shift, Cartman finds a love drawing of Miss Stevenson (the kindergarten teacher) by Ike. After Miss Stevenson receives the drawing, she admits she too loves Ike, and the pair go on dates and even begin a sexual relationship.
