The Room (song)

"The Room" is a song by Scottish indie rock band The Twilight Sad. The song was released as the third single from the band's second studio album, Forget the Night Ahead. It was released on 5 April 2010 on Fat Cat Records. The song features violin by Laura McFarlane, of fellow Scottish band My Latest Novel, and was the first song to be written for the record.

"The Room" was first released as an acoustic version, under the title "Untitled #27," on the band's 2008 compilation album Killed My Parents and Hit the Road. The title of the song was inspired by the 2003 Tommy Wiseau movie, The Room.

The B-side of the single is an acoustic version of "The Neighbours Can't Breathe," a song also featured on Forget the Night Ahead.

Music video

The video for the song premiered on 25 February 2010 on The Line of Best Fit's website. It was directed by Nicola Collins, whose filmmaking work includes the award-winning documentary The End. The video features David Lynch's granddaughter in the starring role.

Hudson's Bay (retailer)

Hudson's Bay (formerly and still colloquially known as The Bay) is a chain of 90 department stores that operate exclusively in Canada. It is the main brand of Hudson's Bay Company (HBC), North America's oldest company. It has its headquarters in the Simpson Tower in Toronto. In French, the chain is known as la Baie d'Hudson (formerly la Baie), short for "Compagnie de la Baie". The chain uses both the English and French versions of the name in some parts of the country.

The stores are full-line department stores, with a focus on high end fashion apparel, accessories, and home goods. Price points at Hudson's Bay are comparable to U.S. retailers Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom. The average store size is 135,000 square feet (12,500 m²).

Flagship downtown stores are located in Canada's largest cities, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg, often being multi-storey, historic buildings and carry an extensive range and selection of goods than regular Hudson's Bay stores. The largest of the flagship stores is the Toronto store on Queen Street, at about 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m²). Toronto has another smaller store along the Mink Mile at Bloor Street East and Yonge Street in the Hudson's Bay Centre.

Moscow (Russian: Москва / Moskva) is a cantata composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1883 for the coronation of Alexander III of Russia, over a Russian libretto by Apollon Maykov. It is scored for mezzo-soprano, baritone, mixed chorus (SATB), 3 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, harp and strings.
