Money Maker

"Money Maker" is the first single from Ludacris's fifth album Release Therapy. The song was released to the radio on July 17, 2006. The song is Ludacris' take on the 1961 Elmore James blues song Shake Your Moneymaker. It was produced by The Neptunes and features Pharrell. The song was written by Chris Bridges (Ludacris), and Pharrell Williams. The video was released on August 17, 2006. The video premiered on MTV's Making the Video. The single reached number 1 on various charts. It has peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number 1 on Hot Rap Tracks in the United States. It also became the number 1 single on radio in the United States on October 19, 2006. The music video managed to enter BET's 106 & Park and peak at number 1, where it remained for several days. The single has strong airplay on BET and MTV. It also has airplay on Canada's Muchmusic. The single had a major promotional campaign and huge airplay on radio around the U.S., Canada and other countries around the globe. The song was performed on the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. This is Ludacris's third #1 hit single.

Homesick (A Day to Remember album)

Homesick is the third studio album by American rock band A Day to Remember, produced by Chad Gilbert and the band, and released in February 2009. It was the band's second album for Victory. The album features material written while the band had been touring, which Andrew Wade helped them demo. Recording took place between October and November 2008 at The Wade Studio, located in Ocala. Featured on the album are guest vocalists Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada), Vincent Bennett (The Acacia Strain) and Sierra Kusterbeck (VersaEmerge). Recorded during the album sessions but remaining unreleased is an instrumental called "Money Maker". Several of the album's songs appeared on the band's MySpace profile before the release of the album.

Planned for a mid-February 2009 release by Victory before being moved forward two weeks, the album sold 22,000 copies in the first week and charted at number 21 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It also charted at number 165 in the UK. It was the band's final album featuring Tom Denney on guitar, who was replaced on tour by Kevin Skaff. Three singles were released from the album: "NJ Legion Iced Tea" in January 2009, "The Downfall of Us All" in March 2009, "Have Faith in Me" in August 2009. Only the third of these charted, at number 40 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. A re-release with additional tracks was released in October 2009. Several of the album tracks are available for Rock Band. In 2014, two songs from the album, "The Downfall of Us All" and "If It Means a Lot to You", were certified gold by the RIAA. In 2015, the album was certified silver in the UK by the BPI.

Money Maker (Reloaded)

Money Maker (Reloaded), alternatively spelled Money Maker (Re-Loaded), is the debut album by American rapper Froggy Fresh. According to Amazon.com, the original release date for the album was December 21, 2012. The album was originally titled Money Maker. The album was named for Money Maker Mike. On April 23, 2014, a remastered version of the album was released.

Background

Froggy Fresh originally created songs under the name "Krispy Kreme". Starting with "The Baddest", these songs, accompanied by music videos, went viral. However, in December 2012, the rapper was forced to change his name by the Krispy Kreme doughnut company. While the rapper was intending to change his name to Jelly Bean Jack, the rapper opted to instead change his name to Froggy Fresh. The original title of the album was going to be Money Maker. However, due the rapper being forced to change his name and the words "Krispy Kreme" being mentioned on the album's tracks, the album was discarded. Then the album was instead released as an extended version of the discarded album including an additional four tracks originally being held off for Froggy's following album. The music videos were treated similarly, as they were deleted and later re-uploaded in February 2013 with any mention of "Krispy Kreme" being dubbed over with "Froggy Fresh" or muted.
