Mohammed Iqbal Khan (born 10 February 1981), more commonly known as Iqbal Khan, is an Indian television and Bollywood actor.

Khan was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar. He was a part of Falguni Pathak's "Indhana Mirwa" music video. His he played Angad Khanna in the serial Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai. He went on to play the character of Shaurya in Kavyanjali and Raghu for Kahiin To Hoga. After the ending of Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai he went on to do another serial Karam Apnaa Apnaa, where he played the role of Shiv Kapoor.

He exited from Karam Apnaa Apnaa at the end of 2006. He made a come back on television with Chhoona Hai Aasmaan as an Airforce officer by the name of Abhimanyu Adhikari. He appeared in Waaris and portrayed the lead role of Rudra on the serial Sanjog Se Bani Sangini . He portrayed a role of Dr. Viren Roy in Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli from March–June 2012.

He had a major tole in the film Unforgettable.

Khan is married to Sneha Chhabra, whom he met at a shoot of a video album. They have a daughter who was born in 2011.

Muhammad Iqbal

Sir Muhammad Iqbal (Urdu: محمد اقبال ‎) (November 9, 1877 – April 21, 1938), widely known as Allama Iqbal (علامہ اقبال), was a poet, philosopher, and politician, as well as an academic, barrister and scholar in British India who is widely regarded as having inspired the Pakistan Movement. He is considered one of the most important figures in Urdu literature, with literary work in both the Urdu and Persian languages.

Iqbal is admired as a prominent poet by Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans and other international scholars of literature. Though Iqbal is best known as an eminent poet, he is also a highly acclaimed "Muslim philosophical thinker of modern times". His first poetry book, Asrar-e-Khudi, appeared in the Persian language in 1915, and other books of poetry include Rumuz-i-Bekhudi, Payam-i-Mashriq and Zabur-i-Ajam. Amongst these his best known Urdu works are Bang-i-Dara, Bal-i-Jibril, Zarb-i Kalim and a part of Armughan-e-Hijaz. Along with his Urdu and Persian poetry, his Urdu and English lectures and letters have been very influential in cultural, social, religious and political disputes.

Mohammad Iqbal (cricketer)

Mohammad Iqbal Butt (born December 31, 1973) is a Pakistani born Canadian cricketer.

Iqbal started his career in Pakistan where he played with Rawalpindi. A right-handed opening batsman, he scored a century in his maiden first class innings with Canada, against Namibia in 2007. He also made 88 in the second innings.

Iqbal Khan (lawyer)

Iftakhar Iqbal Ahmad Khan is an Indo-Fijian lawyer based in the city of Lautoka.

Khan practiced law in Parramatta, Australia as a public defender for the Legal Aid Society.

Khan has a controversial reputation, both in Fiji and Australia, where he was disqualified from practicing law in the state of Queensland in 2001, for nondisclosure of information to the barristers board when seeking admission. According to the Queensland Law Society, Khan withheld information about a complaint against him by Sheo Shankar, a client of his. Khan, however, claimed that he was disqualified not for dishonesty, but for being unafraid to speak his mind.

In Fiji, Khan defended a number of high-profile figures against charges of involvement in the Fiji coup of 2000. In August 2005, he secured the acquittal of Information Minister Simione Kaitani on coup-related charges.

On 3 September 2005, Khan challenged incumbent Graeme Leung for the Presidency of the Fiji Law Society, but was heavily defeated. Leung amassed 91 percent of the vote. Khan would not rule out making another bid for the post in 2006, but in the end, he did not, and Devanesh Sharma was elected to succeed Leung.

Iqbal Khan (general)

Muhammad Iqbal Khan, NI(M), SBt, is a former four-star general of the Pakistan Army who stayed as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee from 1980 to 1984 during the martial regime of Chief Martial Law Administrator and Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Army General Zia-ul-Haq. During his career, Iqbal was Deputy Chief of Army Staff (DCOAS), Commander IV Corps of Lahore and Chief of General Staff (CGS) at the Army General Headquarters (GHQ).

Military career

Iqbal Khan studied at Military College Jhelum (College No. 1187) and was commissioned in the 2nd FF Regiment of the Pakistan Army. During the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, Iqbal Khan was serving as Director General Military Intelligence of the Pakistan Army. He then commanded the 33rd Infantry Division at Quetta during the 1973 during counter-insurgency operations in Balochistan He was later appointed Chief of General Staff (CGS) at the GHQ from where he was elevated to lieutenant general in March 1976 and posted as commander IV Corps at Lahore.
