Mizuho, Gifu
Mizuho (瑞穂市, Mizuho-shi) is a city located in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.
As of July 2011, the city has an estimated population of 52,269, with 19,567 households and a population density of 1,900 persons per km². The total area is 28.19 km².

History
The modern city of Mizuho was established on May 1, 2003, from the merger of the towns of Hozumi (穂積) and Sunami (巣南) (both from Motosu District).
