Misfit (Charlotte "Charlie" Gage-Radcliffe) is a fictional character in the DC Comics Universe. She first appeared in Birds of Prey #96 (September 2006) as a wannabe Batgirl, before taking on her own identity as Misfit.
Misfit debuts as a shadowy figure, wearing a homemade variation of Barbara Gordon's classic Batgirl costume, accurate enough to be mistaken for the original article at night. She seems to have some proficiency with martial arts and Batarangs, as she's able to save a couple from muggers. The male of the rescued couple says "Batgirl is back!"
That's enough for Barbara to send Black Canary and Huntress to find the new Batgirl. With Gypsy as a lure, acting as a damsel in distress, the girl then reveals herself, and after displaying her metahuman powers of teleportation, superstrength and enhanced healing, saves Huntress from being wounded, and displaying her extensive knowledge of the Birds of Prey's activities, she teleports right behind Barbara to speak with her. Oracle, impressed by the young girl's abilities, but deterred by her young age, shows her photos of Stephanie Brown's autopsy to dissuade her from crime-fighting. The mystery girl agrees to retire her Batgirl identity, but not to abandon her heroic activities.

Sunlight Makes Me Paranoid is the debut full-length album by American rock band Elefant. Originally released on April 8, 2003 by Kemado Records, it was re-released in October 2004 on Hollywood Records following the success of the single "Misfit".
"Misfit" is the second single from UK singer Amy Studt. Released on 9 June 2003, the single reached a peak of #6 in the charts and is Studt's most successful single to date. It was also the most successful single internationally. It is taken from her debut album, False Smiles. The song is criticizing those who conform, labelling them superficial and saying it is all right to be a misfit. It is included on Now 55 in the UK.
The video was directed by Sophie Muller, who directed the video for her last single Just a Little Girl. In it Amy is walking to school, and she gets tripped up and pushed around when she gets in. She flees to the bathroom, and then imagines herself performing. Then she is shown in a dormitory with her in a nightdress. All the girls are crowding around her, and she doesn't seem to like it so she climbs on top of a cupboard. She is then shown dancing with some other girls imagining herself to be like everybody else, which clearly displeases her. Then she proceeds to dance by herself in her own unique way, until some people in suits drive up to the school, presumably talent scouts, see her and start shooting pictures with her, and the other girls are seen to be crying. At the end she is seen back on top of the cupboard smiling.
