A Communications Ministry or Department of Communications is a ministry or other government agency charged with communication. Communications responsibilities includes regulating telecommunications, postal services, broadcasting and print media. The ministry is often headed by the Minister for Communications.
Some countries have such a department literally called Ministry of Communications:
The Minister for Infrastructure (Swedish: Infrastrukturministern) is a cabinet minister within the Swedish Government and appointed by the Prime Minister of Sweden.
The office was formed in 1920 as Minister for Communications. The office was renamed to Minister for Infrastructure in 2000.
The minister is responsible for issues regarding railways, subways, roads, bridges, ferries, shipping, sea lanes, ports, aviation, transportation, communication and communication research. The current Minister for Infrastructure is Anna Johansson, appointed on 3 October 2014.
The Minister for Communications was the minister in the Government of Ireland created by the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1983 to replace the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs. In 1991 the ministers functions were passed to the retitled Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications and the department ceased to exist (the functions are now with the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources).
Natural Resources are all that exists without the actions of humankind. This includes all natural characteristics such as magnetic, gravitational, and electrical properties and forces. On earth we include sunlight, atmosphere, water, land (includes all minerals) along with all vegetation and animal life that naturally subsists upon or within the heretofore identified characteristics and substances.
Particular areas such as "The rainforest in Fatu-Hiva" are often characterized by the biodiversity and geodiversity existent in their ecosystems. Natural resources may be further classified in different ways. Natural resources are materials and components (something that can be used) that can be found within the environment. Every man-made product is composed of natural resources (at its fundamental level). A natural resource may exist as a separate entity such as fresh water, and air, as well as a living organism such as a fish, or it may exist in an alternate form which must be processed to obtain the resource such as metal ores, mineral oil, and most forms of energy.
Natural Resources is a soul album released by Motown girl group Martha Reeves and the Vandellas in 1970 on the Gordy (Motown) label. The album is significant for the Vietnam War ballad "I Should Be Proud" and the slow jam, "Love Guess Who". The album marked a return from lead singer Martha Reeves, recovering from a time in a mental institution after an addiction to painkillers nearly wrecked her (though it still took her until 1977 to beat her addiction). This was the next-to-last album for the Vandellas, whose success had peaked in the mid-1960s.
The Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources (Irish: An tAire Cumarsáide, Fuinnimh agus Achmhainní Nádúrtha) is the senior minister at the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources in the Government of Ireland.
The current Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources is Alex White, TD. He is assisted by:
