Millport may refer to:

Millport (Scottish Gaelic: Port a' Mhuilinn) is the only town on the island of Great Cumbrae in the Firth of Clyde off the coast of North Ayrshire. The town is four miles south from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry slipway.
Tourism is an important aspect of the economy. Due to its small size, the island and its town are often linked in the minds of visitors and residents. Millport has the smallest extant cathedral in the British Isles.
The Garrison House in the centre of town, constructed in 1745, was formerly the barracks/Captain's mansion, then the home of the Earl of Glasgow, and is now in community ownership (see "Current Developments" below).
During the development of the River Clyde as a main thoroughfare for goods, shipbuilding and smuggling, Millport was a strategic base for Customs and Excise. Several of the streets in Millport are named after crew members of the Revenue cutter Royal George.
Millport was a radio situation comedy, initially broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and frequently repeated on BBC Radio 7. It starred Lynn Ferguson and Janet Brown. The show is set in a surreal version of the only town, Millport, on the island of Great Cumbrae in the River Clyde Estuary, taking small-town stereotypes to absurd lengths. The show was written by Lynn Ferguson.
The central character is barmaid Irene Bruce, who refers to her hometown as 'a scabby wee town on a scabby wee island', and hankers after a life on a larger stage on the mainland - at one point in the series gets a job in a bar in 'Machete Street' Paisley (a reference to Paisley's reputation for violence - Paisley is mocked mercilessly throughout the radio series). Irene is perpetually bored, cranky and sexually frustrated, but at the same time unattracted to anyone around her.
Her infuriatingly sweet (and dull) sister Moira writes articles for the (real) treacly magazine The People's Friend; no-one seems to comment on the fact that her dog Robert can talk...
