Mike Delfino

Michael "Mike" Delfino is a fictional character on the ABC television series Desperate Housewives. The character was played by actor James Denton from the show's inception, until the eighth and final season of the show.

History

Season 1

Mike Delfino posed as the friendly neighborhood plumber but was quietly searching for his missing ex-girlfriend (Deirdre Taylor). Her father, Noah, wanted to know what had happened to her before he died. Deirdre's remains were discovered under the Young family pool.

Paul Young murdered Martha Huber after she admitted blackmailing his late wife. He tried framing Mike. Susan Meyer discovered that he had been in prison for manslaughter and drug dealing. Devastated, she ended their relationship. However, she visited Kendra and Noah, looking for answers. Kendra explained that Mike and Deirdre were drug addicts. Mike was defending Deirdre from an undercover policeman. Mike tried stopping the policeman and caught them together. Mike and the policeman had a fight and they went over a balcony. Mike survived but the cop didn't.
