Rumble, Shetland

Rumble is a skerry in the Shetland islands of Scotland, situated roughly 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east off the coast of Huxter, southeastern Whalsay. It lies 0.75 miles (1.21 km) to southwest of East Linga. The main island, also known as Rumble Holm, is 27 feet (8.2 m) high. Nearby and to the north are the Flaeshans of Rumble, a series of small islets and stacks and Burlastack of Rumble lies to the east. On the northern side of the main island is an inlet, known as the Voe of Rumble.Lobsters and prawns are said to shelter here. It is also mentioned that a ship named Griften of unknown nationality was shipwrecked either here or on the Holm of Sandwick in 1611.

Rumble (Transformers)

Rumble is a fictional character in the Transformers universes. In order to trademark the name, Hasbro referred to the Alternators character as Decepticon Rumble.

Transformers: Generation 1

The first toy for Rumble was originally released in an earlier Takara toy line called Microman. In cassette mode, the toy was able to fit inside the body of Cassetteman (who would later become Soundwave). When the line was imported to the U.S. as Transformers, the toy was released in two different colors as different characters—Rumble and Frenzy.

Rumble's colors changed over the course of Generation one, originally being red (leading to confusion as Frenzy was blue) in the original toyline and Marvel comics. The cartoon made Rumble the blue robot instead. Dreamwave comics, IDW comics, and even the recently released Alternators toy all represented Rumble as a red robot. The Japanese dub of the original Transformers series switched Rumble and Frenzy's names around so that their cartoon appearances would match the colors of their toys.

Midnight (Koontz novel)

Midnight is a novel by the best-selling author Dean Koontz. It was published in 1989. The book is a cross-genre novel. It includes aspects of suspense, science fiction, love story, and horror.

Overview

As with many Koontz books, Midnight is divided into parts. Part One: Along the Night Coast, contains chapters one through fifty-seven. Part Two: Daybreak in Hades, contains thirty-seven chapters, but is similar to Part One in that it begins with its own 'Chapter One'. Part Three: The Night Belongs To Them, follows suit, begins with its own Chapter One, and has forty-one chapters.

It is interesting to note that Midnight contains a total of one-hundred and thirty-five chapters, far exceeding the chapter count of most contemporary novels.

Midnight is Dean Koontz's first No. 1 hardcover on the New York Times bestseller list.

Midnight has a mixture of two classic plots- the great 50's film Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the classic H.G. Wells tale, The Island of Dr. Moreau. And, indeed, Koontz cleverly mentions both of these later in the novel.

Midnight (Hunter novel)

Midnight is a fantasy novel, the first book in Erin Hunter's Warriors: The New Prophecy series. Following The Darkest Hour and Firestar's Quest, and preceding Moonrise, it was released May 10, 2005. The novel centers on a group of feral cats living in four Clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan.

Plot summary

More than a year has passed since the previous book, [The Darkest Hour (Warriors)]. Bramblepaw, Tigerstar's son, has received his warrior name, Brambleclaw. Firestar has had two kits with Sandstorm, named Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw. Squirrelpaw is apprenticed to Dustpelt, and Leafpaw is apprenticed to Cinderpelt, to train to become the next medicine cat of ThunderClan. While Leafpaw and Cinderpelt search for herbs, StarClan, the cats' ancestors, sends Cinderpelt an ominous warning in some burning bracken, a picture of a tiger running through fire, which she interprets to mean that fire and tiger will destroy the forest. Cinderpelt concludes that the warning must be about Squirrelpaw and Brambleclaw, the daughter of Firestar and the son of Tigerstar, respectively. They share the warning with Firestar, who later decides to keep Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw separated.

Best Friends Forever is an American television comedy series that ran on NBC from April 4, to June 1, 2012. The series aired during the 2011–2012 NBC primetime season as a mid-season replacement and was created by real-life best friends Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair. The pilot episode was made available early through Hulu and NBC.com on March 21, 2012. NBC officially canceled the series on May 11, 2012.

Series synopsis

When Jessica's (Jessica St. Clair) husband files for divorce, she flies across the country to seek comfort and move back in with her best friend Lennon (Lennon Parham).
