Meron may refer to:
Meron (Hebrew: מֵירוֹן, Meron) is a moshav (cooperative village) on the slopes of Mount Meron, in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel near Safed, and within municipal jurisdiction of the Merom HaGalil Regional Council. Meron is most famous for the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, and is the site of annual mass public commemoration of Lag Ba'omer.
The association of Meron with the ancient Canaanite city of Merom or Maroma is generally accepted by Archeologists. According to Avraham Negev, by the Second Temple period, Merom was known as Meron. Meron is mentioned in the Bible as the site of Joshua's victory over the Canaanite kings. In the 12th century, Benjamin de Tudela visited Meron and described a cave of tombs located there believed to hold the remains of Hillel, Shammai, and "twenty of their disciples and other Rabbis". Until at least 1931, Meron consisted of an Arab and Jewish quarter (seeMeiron). The modern village of Meron was founded in 1949 on the site of the ancient settlement by Orthodox soldiers discharged after the war.
A meron or half-instanton is a Euclidean space-time solution of the Yang-Mills field equations. It is a singular non-self-dual solution of topological charge 1/2. The instanton is believed to be composed of two merons.
A meron can be viewed as a tunneling event between two Gribov vacua. In that picture, the meron is an event which starts from vacuum, then a Wu-Yang monopole emerges, which then disappears again to leave the vacuum in another Gribov copy.
Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you everything is fine
In my mind
Mornin' Mr. Shoeshine man
Shine 'em bright in white and tan
My baby said she loves me and
Need I tell you that
Everything here is just fine
(In)
In my mind
Excuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings, ohh yes
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Golden Gate
I should walk but I can't wait
I can't wait to set it straight
I was shakin' but now I am
Makin' it fine
Here in my mind
My heart will soar
With love that's rare and real
My smiling face will feel every cloud
Then higher still
Beyond the blue until
I know I can
Like any man
Reach out my hand
And touch the face of God
Excuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you that everything is fine
Ooh in my mind?
So, won't you get up Oriole
So, won't you get up Cheerios
Wake up Mr. Radio
[Incomprehensible] it's fine
Here in my mind
Singin' about mornin' little radio
