Mean Machine is the second studio album by the German heavy metal band U.D.O.. It was released in 1988 by RCA Records. After their previous album, Animal House, Peter Szigeti had been replaced by Andy Susemihl from Sinner, Frank Rittel by Thomas Smuszynski (who later went on to Running Wild) and Thomas Franke by Stefan Schwarzmann. Dieter Rubach, who joined the band after the recording of Animal House left and was replaced by Smuszynski.

Mean Machine (Lucifer's Friend album)

Mean Machine is the eighth album by Lucifer's Friend. On this album the band returns to their heavy metal roots, albeit with less of the Hammond organ found on the first album. However, by this time the band had lost its core following years ago and it was too late to recover. Lucifer's Friend lasted a year after the album's release and then finally broke up. John Lawton would join the hard rock bands, Rebel and ZAR. Lucifer's Friend would reunite in 1993 and would release Sumo Grip in 1994 and would breakup for the final time in 1996.

Delivery order

A Delivery Order (abbreviated D/O) is a document from a Consignee, or an owner or his agent of freight Carrier which orders the release of the transportation of cargo to another party. Usually the written order permits the direct delivery of goods to a warehouseman, carrier or other person who in the course of their ordinary business issues warehouse receipts or bills of lading.

According to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) a delivery order refers to an "order given by an owner of goods to a person in possession of them (the carrier or warehouseman) directing that person to deliver the goods to a person named in the order."

A Delivery Order which is used for the import of cargo should not to be confused with delivery instructions. Delivery Instructions provides "specific information to the inland carrier concerning the arrangement made by the forwarder to deliver the merchandise to the particular pier or steamship line."
