Nu ABO

"Nu ABO" (Korean: Nu 예삐오; Nu Yeppioh) is the first extended play by South Korean girl group f(x). It was released digitally on May 4, 2010 in South Korea under the record label of S.M. Entertainment and distribution label of KMP Holdings. The EP's promotional singles were the title track and "Mr. Boogie".

Background

The title is a play on words meaning "New Blood Type": A, B and O are blood types, and if the letters are said in succession, it sounds like "ye-bbi-oh" ("예삐오").

Promotions

The title track from the EP, "Nu ABO", was chosen as the lead single. "Mr. Boogie" was re-released as a digital single on July 17, 2010 for follow-up promotions. Live performances of both "NU ABO" and "Mr Boogie" were broadcast on various local music shows Music Bank, Show! Music Core and Inkigayo during the promotional cycle. "ME+U" was also performed during the 2010 Dream Concert and on Wave K with its own choreography. A remix version of "Ice Cream" by Idiotape was also released on March 27, 2013. The title track was also used for the Korean-American film Make Your Move (2013), and was subsequently included on its soundtrack.

Me & U (song)

"Me & U" is a song written by Ryan Leslie and recorded by American recording artist Cassie. It was released on April 25, 2006, as the lead single from her eponymous debut album, Cassie (2006). The song reached number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. It remained in the top forty for nearly five months.

The song's "Bad Boy" remix features Diddy and Yung Joc and the song's "The Inc" remix features Ja Rule and Harry-O. The single has been a successful debut as a top three single in the U.S., a top five single in New Zealand, a top ten hit in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France, and a top twenty song in Australia. The song is featured on DANCE! Online, a multiplayer online casual rhythm game, Saints Row 2, and in the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V. It was meant to be featured in Grand Theft Auto IV and the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Grand Theft Auto V, but was removed for unknown reasons. "Me & U" is also heavily sampled in the 2013 song "Cool" by Le Youth.

Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Limited (“J&P(O) Ltd”) was established in 1961 in Guernsey, Channel Islands. J&P(O) Ltd completed its first overseas projects in Libya in the 1960s. J&P(O) Ltd then took its next major step and expanded into the Persian Gulf in the 1970s. During the subsequent decades, J&P(O) Ltd played a leading role in the Persian Gulf’s construction boom completing highways in all types of terrain, tunnels, bridges and flyovers, airports, housing schemes, palaces, luxury hotels, hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, sports and conference centers and complex military projects.

Jay Stay Paid

Jay Stay Paid is an album from the late hip hop musician J Dilla, mixed like a radio show by Pete Rock. It is a posthumous album, but is his fourth album overall. It was released June 2, 2009 on Nature Sounds. Despite the fact that the album has contributing vocals from several artists, it is roughly classified as an instrumental hip hop album.

Background

The album is a 28 track collection of unreleased Dilla beats mixed and arranged by Pete Rock. Although Jay Stay Paid is mostly instrumental, it includes guests vocals from several artists that Dilla worked with or admired, such as Black Thought, Havoc, Raekwon, MF DOOM, and M.O.P. It was executive produced by Dilla’s mother Maureen "Ma Dukes" Yancey along with the musical supervision of Dilla’s musical idol, Pete Rock. In regard to the album's feel and direction Ma Dukes stated:
