Coordinates: 4°15′S 15°25′E / 4.25°S 15.417°E / -4.25; 15.417 Mbamu (also: M´Bamou and Bamu) is an island in the Republic of the Congo (Congo Brazzaville). It is situated in the Pool Malebo, a lake formed by the River Congo. To the south lies Kinshasa, and the northwest lies Brazzaville.
