Maryland Route 3

Maryland Route 3 (MD 3), part of the Robert Crain Highway, is the designation given to the former alignment of U.S. Route 301 from Bowie, Maryland, USA, to Baltimore. It is named for Robert Crain of Baltimore. It is unique in Maryland in that it has a business route and a truck route which do not connect to their parent; however, the business route is also a part of the Robert Crain Highway. MD 3's current orientation is vestigial from the construction of Maryland's freeway system.

Route description

MD 3 begins within the modified cloverleaf interchange of John Hanson Highway (Interstate 595, better known as US 50) and Robert Crain Highway (US 301). Within the interchange, US 301 exits Crain Highway northbound and joins US 50 eastbound; meanwhile, Crain Highway continues northbound, beginning MD 3. After passing through another interchange with Belair Drive, containing continuing connections from the US 50/US 301 interchange, MD 3 turns northeastward, widening to eight lanes and intersecting MD 450 from the west. Here, MD 450 joins MD 3 for a short distance, crossing the Patuxent River and entering Anne Arundel County, leaving to the east approximately half a mile later.

Pennsylvania Route 3

Pennsylvania Route 3 (PA 3) is a 24.3-mile (39.1 km) state highway located in the southeastern portion of Pennsylvania. The route connects U.S. Route 322 Business (US 322 Bus.) in West Chester with PA 611 in Philadelphia. The route begins in downtown West Chester and heads east out of town as a one-way pair of streets. Between West Chester and Upper Darby Township, PA 3 follows a four-lane divided highway known as West Chester Pike through suburban areas. Along this stretch, the route passes through Edgmont, Newtown Square, Broomall, and Havertown. The route has an interchange with Interstate 476 (I-476) between Broomall and Havertown. Upon reaching Upper Darby, PA 3 heads into Philadelphia along Market Street. In Philadelphia, the route follows multiple one-way pairs, running along Chestnut Street and Walnut Street in West Philadelphia before heading into Center City Philadelphia along Market Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard and ending at Philadelphia City Hall.

Prince Edward Island Route 3

Route 3 is a 33 kilometre long, two-lane uncontrolled access secondary highway in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Its maximum speed limit is 90 km/h (55 mph).

Route 3, also known locally as the Montague Road or the Georgetown Road, connects the most populated part of Kings County (the Montague-Georgetown area) with Charlottetown.

Oregon Route 3

Oregon Route 3 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is located entirely within Wallowa County. OR 3 is the lowest numbered highway in the state of Oregon, of any type (state, federal, or Interstate). OR 3 traverses the Enterprise–Lewiston Highway No. 11 of the Oregon state highway system.

Route description

OR 3 has its southern terminus at a junction with Oregon Route 82 in the city of Enterprise. It runs north/south, passing near the small community of Flora. It terminates at the Washington border. The route continues north through Anatone and Asotin, Washington and into Clarkston, Washington as State Route 129. From Clarkston, U.S. Route 12 provides direct access to Lewiston, Idaho.

Disorder (2015 film)

Disorder (French: Maryland) is a 2015 French drama film directed by Alice Winocour about a home invasion starring Matthias Schoenaerts and Diane Kruger. It was screened in competition in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

The film will be released on 25 March 2016, in the United Kingdom by Soda Pictures.

Plot

Vincent (Matthias Schoenaerts), is an ex-soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. He is hired to protect the wife of a wealthy businessman while he's out of town at their luxurious villa, Maryland, in the French Riviera.

On 1 October 2014, Deadline reported that Matthias Schoenaerts and Diane Kruger would co-star in the film.

Filming began in the French Riviera on 15 October 2014. Most part of the film takes place in the Domaine la Dilecta at the Cape of Antibes. The beach scenes were shot at the Plage de Passable in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. A car chase scene was shot in Col d'Èze on 14 November 2014. Production completed on 11 December 2014.

Maryland wine

Maryland wine is wine made in the U.S. state of Maryland. The industry has grown rapidly since the first winery in Maryland, Boordy Vineyards, opened in 1945. It is estimated that the industry contributes $50 million annually to the Maryland economy.

History

The state’s history of viticulture begins in 1648 with the earliest recorded instance of winemaking in Maryland. Fourteen years later, the first European grapes planted in Maryland were deposited in 200 acres (80.9 ha) on the east bank of St. Marys River. It was not until the 1930s that Philip Wagner, a columnist with the Baltimore Sun, published American Wines and How to Make Them. The book was later revised as Grapes Into Wine and became the definitive book on winemaking in America.

The 1980s proved to be a definitive decade for the industry. In 1981, the Maryland Grape Growers Association was formed, followed by the Maryland Wineries Association in 1984. That same year, the Maryland Wine Festival was held for the first time and the Maryland Winery and Grape Growers Advisory Board was formed.
