So Far, So Good... So What!

So Far, So Good... So What! is the third studio album by American thrash metal band Megadeth. It was released on January 19, 1988 through Capitol Records; a remixed and remastered edition including several bonus tracks was reissued in August 2004. It is the band's only album recorded with drummer Chuck Behler and guitarist Jeff Young, both of whom were fired immediately after the subsequent tour. So Far, So Good... So What! features music performed at very fast tempos with technical ability; lyrically, frontman and guitarist Dave Mustaine addresses a variety of topics, including nuclear holocaust and freedom of speech.

The record was well received among contemporary music critics, although retrospective analysis has been less favorable. It managed to enter the top 30 on the Billboard 200 with no commercial radio play; it charted in several other countries as well. The album was eventually certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and indicated Megadeth's forthcoming emergence from the underground scene.

The Untouchable

The Untouchable is the fourth studio album by American rapper Scarface. The album was released on March 11, 1997, by Rap-a-Lot Records. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart for the first time in his career with the album; in addition it peaked at the top of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for two weeks, giving Scarface his second number one album there. The effort included the smash hit single, "Smile", featuring Tupac Shakur, released shortly after the shooting deaths of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.. It peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the only single released by Scarface to go Gold.

Commercial Performance

The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA on May 16, 1997.

Mary Jane (Janis Joplin song)

"Mary Jane" is a blues song by Janis Joplin.

The song has five verses; the first includes the line "When I bring home my hard-earned pay, I spend my money all on Mary Jane".

A live performance of the song, recorded in San Francisco 1965 with the Dick Oxtot Jazz Band, is on the 1975 compilation album Janis. The song is also included on the 2007 compilation The Very Best Of Janis Joplin.

The song is often incorrectly attributed to Bessie Smith.

Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane

Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane is an American comic book series focusing on a teenage Mary Jane, the love interest of superhero Spider-Man. The series, published by Marvel Comics, is a teen drama set outside the regular Marvel continuity, and aimed at teenage girls, as opposed to the traditional male comic book audience.

It was originally written by Sean McKeever with art by penciller Takeshi Miyazawa (who left after issue #15 and was replaced by David Hahn, but continued providing covers) and colorist Christina Strain. The series began publication in December 2005 and was preceded by two miniseries from the series' original creative team, Mary Jane in 2004 and Mary Jane: Homecoming in 2005.

The original series ended in July 2007 with issue #20, and was followed by a five-issue miniseries in August 2008 by writer Terry Moore and artist Craig Rousseau.

Publication history

The initial four-issue miniseries, Mary Jane, originally intended as an ongoing series, began publication in June 2004 under the Marvel Age imprint, a line of comic books by Marvel Comics aimed at younger readers. Marvel had decided to launch a comic book series with a female lead to attract young female readers after seeing a growing number of girls becoming comic readers through manga, and had chosen Mary Jane because of her popularity stemming from the Spider-Man film series (Spider-Man 2 was released two weeks after Mary Jane #1). Mary Jane was also the subject of a popular young adult novel by Judith o'Brien the year before. However, due to low sales the series was discontinued after its fourth issue, with Marvel waiting to see how the digest-sized trade paperback collecting the four issues would sell, before deciding whether the series should be canceled for good or not. Simultaneously, a collected edition of the series was also released in magazine size with a cardstock cover, exclusively available at Target Stores.

Mary Jane (Pull Tiger Tail song)

"Mary Jane" is the fifth single to be released by Pull Tiger Tail, with a release date of June 2 on the Young and Lost Club Records. A music video is known to have been filmed but has not been released.

The single was released as a digital download and on limited edition vinyl (only 1000 copies).
