Zen+ is the codename for an AMD microarchitecture that will eventually succeed Zen. According to AMD, Zen+ is expected to bring a slight increase in instructions per clock over Zen, but not nearly as large as the jump from Excavator to Zen.
Özen is a Turkish name, it may refer to:
The ZEN is a portable media player designed and manufactured by Creative Technology. This flash memory-based player is the de facto successor of the ZEN Vision:M and was announced on August 29, 2007, to be available in capacities of 2, 4, 8, and 16 GB, as of September 14. A 32 GB model was announced on December 4, 2007, setting a record for storage capacity among flash players.
The player has a width of 83 mm (3.3 in), a height of 55 mm (2.2 in) and is 11.3 mm (0.44 in) thick, making it the slimmest Creative portable media player and the second slimmest Creative player of any type (other than the discontinued MuVo Slim) at the time of its release. Because of its dimensions, the ZEN is advertised to be the "size of a credit card". This is the first Creative player to have a SD card slot (enabling the support of SD and SDHC cards; an optional adapter is needed for microSD and miniSD cards), support for DRM free iTunes-encoded AAC (in a ".m4a" extension), as well as a truecolor TFT LCD display.
Shahid and Shaheed (Arabic: شهيد šahīd, plural: شُهَدَاء šuhadāʾ ) originates from the Quranic Arabic word meaning "witness" and is also used to denote a "martyr". It is used as a honorific for Muslims who have died fulfilling a religious commandment, especially those who die wielding jihad, or historically in the military expansion of Islam. The act of martyrdom is istishhad.
The word shahid in Arabic means "witness". Its development closely parallels that of Greek martys (Greek: μάρτυς - "witness", in the New Testament also "martyr"), the origin of the term martyr. Shahid occurs frequently in the Quran in the generic sense "witness", but only once in the sense "martyr; one who dies deliberately for his faith"; this latter sense acquires wider use in the hadiths.
A shahid is considered one whose place in Paradise is promised according to these verses in the Quran:
The Quran, chapter 3 (Al Imran), verse 169–170:
The Quran, chapter 9 (At-Tawba), verse 111:
The Quranic passage that follows is the source of the concept of Muslim martyrs being promised Paradise:
"Martyr" is the 45th UK single by Depeche Mode. It was released as a non-album single intended to promote the new compilation, The Best Of, Volume 1, that was released on 13 November 2006. The single was released on 30 October 2006 in three formats: CD single, CD maxi and DVD single. There was also a limited edition double-12" single (L12BONG39) featuring four remixes of previous Depeche Mode tracks.
The song, originally titled "Martyr for Love", is a well-known missing track from the Playing the Angel sessions. The song was mentioned on one of the FletchCam videos (where it can faintly be heard playing in the background), and was mentioned in interviews. Playing the Angel programmer Dave McCracken has said that it was considered by the band as the first single from Playing the Angel but it did not make the album due to its poppier sound, when compared with other album tracks.
The single became Depeche Mode's 35th to hit the UK Top 20.
A video was being directed by Andreas Nilsson, who was reportedly hired because Dave Gahan was impressed by his video for The Knife's "Silent Shout". The video was made in Gothenburg, Sweden, and members of the group do not appear in it. The band subsequently rejected this video, which was replaced with a video montage released on 8 October 2006 and directed by Robert Chandler, in which Dave Gahan seemingly sings the song, this being achieved by the succession of short clips of Depeche Mode's videos in which Dave either says the words featured in the lyrics of "Martyr", or he lip-syncs the lyrics, meaning that his lips move in a similar fashion of that when the words in the lyrics are being said. It does not appear on their Best Of DVD compilation.
Crawl past my name
Through my veins
Feel me
Parasite
Taking flight
In deathless night
Free me
For your eyes that see through my design
cannot break me now
Another taste of wine
Come and be my murder scene
You'll be the death of me
Feel the last goodbye
that made you cry
nearly
Come and be my murder scene
My suicide machine
