Martha Stewart

Martha Helen Stewart (née Kostyra; born August 3, 1941) is an American businesswoman, writer, and television personality. As founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, she has gained success through a variety of business ventures, encompassing publishing, broadcasting, merchandising, and electronic commerce. She has written numerous bestselling books, is the publisher of the Martha Stewart Living magazine, and hosted two long-running syndicated television shows, Martha, which ran from 2005 to 2012, and Martha Stewart Living, which ran from 1993 to 2005.

In 2004, Stewart was convicted of charges related to the ImClone insider trading affair and sentenced to prison. There was speculation that the incident would effectively end her media empire, although Stewart began a comeback campaign in 2005 and her company returned to profitability in 2006. Stewart rejoined the board of directors of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in 2011 and became chairman of her namesake company again in 2012.

Home and Away is an Australian television soap opera. It was first broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in 1989, by order of first appearance. They were all introduced by the show's executive producer Des Monaghan. The 2nd season of Home and Away began airing on 23 January 1989. The first introduction of the year was Rebecca Fisher in April. Emily Symons joined the cast as Marilyn Chambers in May. In June, the serial saw the birth of Duncan Stewart, the first child of Alf and Ailsa and Mat Stevenson took on the role of Adam Cameron a fortnight later. Mouche Phillips joined as Viv Newton in July and September saw the arrival of Dannii Minogue as Emma Jackson.

Rebecca Nash

Rebecca Nash, debuted on screen during the episode airing on 3 April 1989. Belinda Emmett’s portrayal of Rebecca earned her nominations for the "Best New Talent" Logie Award in 1997. and "Most Popular Actress" in 1998 and 1999. Emmett was also nominated for a Gold Logie in 1999. Emmett and her co-star Nic Testoni won "Best Couple" at the 1998 Inside Soap Awards and were nominated again in the same category the following year.

Life

Though born in Bardwell in far western Kentucky, Martha Stewart was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She was a singer before becoming a film and television actress. She made one appearance on Broadway in a musical. She retired from acting in 1964. She was married to singer-comedian Joe E. Lewis for two years; the marriage ended in divorce in 1948. She was portrayed by Mitzi Gaynor in The Joker is Wild. She married twice more. Despite rumors that she died in February 2012, in Maine, Stewart is still alive and currently living in California under the name Martha Shelley.
