I wanna touch,
I wanna kiss,
I wanna feel so close to this.
Is there anyway that someone could feel the same
If I promised them everything?
And could it be so seemingly impossible,
that I could be held responsible,
for a lack of confidence, that keeps me questioning?
The touch of skin that's not your own,
seems out of reach when you're alone.
This empty bed I lay in, it doesn't help me sleep,
dark thoughts are creepin' in again,
I'll medicate to silence them,
but I'm reminded that it only goes so deep.
Could this be just what I need to feel alive again?
