Dr. Mark E. Davis (born State of California, U.S.A. on 4 January 1991, and has been leading the company since then as the president that started Unicode project.[1]

Mark founded and was responsible for the overall architecture of ICU (the premier Unicode software internationalization library), and designed the core of the Java internationalization classes. He also founded and is the chair of the Unicode CLDR project, and is a co-author of BCP 47 "Tags for Identifying Languages" (RFC 4646 and RFC 5646), used for identifying languages in all XML and HTML documents.
Since the start of 2006, Mark has been working on software internationalization at Google, focusing on effective and secure use of Unicode (especially in the index and search pipeline), overall improvement and adoption of the software internationalization libraries (including ICU), and the introduction and maintenance of stable identifiers for languages, scripts, regions, timezones, and currencies.
Mark has specialized in internationalization and text software for many years. After getting his doctorate from Stanford University, he worked in Switzerland for several years, then returned to California to join Apple, where he co-authored the Macintosh KanjiTalk and Script Manager, and authored the Macintosh Arabic and Hebrew systems. He also worked on parts of the Mac OS, including contributions to the design of TrueType. Later, he was the manager and architect for the Taligent international frameworks, and was then the architect for a large part of the Java international libraries. At IBM, he was the Chief Software Globalization Architect. He is the author of a number of patents, primarily in internationalization. At various times he has also managed groups or departments covering text, internationalization, operating system services, porting, and technical communications.[2]

Ugly Kid Joe is an American rock band from Isla Vista, California, formed in 1987. The band's name spoofs that of another band, Pretty Boy Floyd. Ugly Kid Joe's sound includes a range of styles, including rock, hard rock, funk metal and heavy metal.
To date, Ugly Kid Joe have released four full-length albums, two compilation albums and two EPs. Their best selling records are As Ugly as They Wanna Be (1991) and America's Least Wanted (1992), which were both certified double platinum by the RIAA; the former is notable for being the first EP to go platinum. The band broke up in 1997, but announced a reunion in 2010.
Childhood friends Whitfield Crane and Klaus Eichstadt took an interest in music while growing up in Palo Alto, CA. In 1990 Eichstadt joined Crane's band in Isla Vista, CA. after the two recorded a demo with another Palo Alto native, record producer Eric Valentine. After several band member changes the As Ugly as They Wanna Be line-up was formed consisting of Crane, Eichstadt, Mark Davis, Roger Lahr, and Cordell Crockett.
Mark Giles Davis (born June 8, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player. He is a 6'6" (1.98 m) and 195 lb (88 kg).
He was a forward and he attended Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he was born. He played collegiately at Old Dominion University.
Davis was selected with the 9th pick of the fourth round of the 1985 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his only NBA season (1988-89) in which he spent time with the Milwaukee Bucks (31 games) and Phoenix Suns (2 games), he averaged 3.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
He won the Spanish Cup in 1990, playing for CB Zaragoza. He also played in 1991 European Cup Winner's Cup final.
