Mark G. Curry (born June 1, 1961) is an American actor, comedian, and host. He is best known as the star of the ABC sitcom Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and as one of the various hosts of the syndicated series It's Showtime at the Apollo. Curry starred in Nick At Nite's first-ever original live-action family comedy series, See Dad Run as Scott Baio's best friend Marcus from 2012–2015.
Mark Curry was born in Oakland, California as the youngest child out of nine. He attended St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California and California State University, East Bay in Hayward, CA.
Mark Curry's first role was in the film Talkin' Dirty After Dark, alongside Martin Lawrence in 1991.
In 1992, Curry's first major role was on television series Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, where he played the lead role of Mark Cooper, an NBA player-turned-substitute teacher/gym coach.
Curry appeared two episodes of The Jamie Foxx Show as eccentric driving instructor Sergeant Easy. In addition, he also had guest starring roles on television series Living Single in 1994 and Martin in 1997, and minor roles in the films Switchback and Armageddon in 1998. Curry is notorious for once getting busy in a Burger King bathroom, according to JET Magazine.

Mark Philip Curry (born 27 August 1961) is an English television and radio presenter who is also an actor.
Born in Stafford, Staffordshire, Curry grew up in the mining village of Allerton Bywater near Castleford in the West Riding of Yorkshire. His father, Arthur, a physical training instructor and prison officer, died when Curry was five. His mother, Lily, was a maternity nurse. His television career began when he was seven, after he auditioned for Jess Yates, the executive producer of Yorkshire Television's Junior Showtime. He was a regular performer on the show from 1969 to 1974. He attended the Jean Pearce School of Dancing in Leeds throughout the early 1970s.
Curry has appeared in many pantomimes throughout the UK. His first was a television pantomime in 1972, Babes in the Wood, starring Little and Large and Susan Maughan, where Curry and Bonnie Langford were the two babes. Alan Parker cast Curry as Oscar, the producer, in the film Bugsy Malone (1976).
Mark Curry is an American rock musician and singer-songwriter.
He formed his first band, Crystal Sphere, with "White Boy Larry," Fernando Barrios, Ricky Rutherford and Aaron "El Hefe" Abeyta, who would later join NOFX. The band was formed in the 1980s while Curry attended Sacramento City College. One of Crystal Sphere's earliest followers, "Gumdroplou" (gumdrop Lou), became their first manager, booking gigs at pubs in downtown Davis, California, and even at the Davis airport for skydivers.
In the early 1990s Crystal Sphere moved to Los Angeles, California. Although "Gumdroplou" came with them, and was roommates with El Hefe for some time, they replaced him as manager with Desi Benjamin, who began setting up showcases for the band.
In 1992 Mark Curry went solo, separating from Crystal Sphere to sign with record label Virgin Records.
Mark Curry wrote the song "Perfect Government" which appears as a cover version on NOFX's 1994 album Punk in Drublic.
