Maria Maria

"Maria Maria" is a song by Santana featuring The Product G&B. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 8, 2000, and stayed there for ten weeks. At the 2000 Grammy Awards, the song won the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Despite other lead singers from the album receiving awards, The Product G&B did not receive a Grammy. Marc Anthony also sang on a version of the song.

In 2008, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Hot 100 chart, Billboard compiled its list of the top 100 songs since the inception of the chart in various categories. "Maria Maria" came in at No. 96 on the list of the Billboard All-Time Hot 100 Top Songs, and No. 2 on the list of Top Billboard Hot 100 Latin Songs of All Time. Later, it was named the 14th most successful song from 2000 to 2009, on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade.

Carlos Santana has collaborated with Chef Roberto Santibañez to open five restaurants named Maria Maria, after the song. The majority are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, other locations include Arizona and Texas.

María García may refer to:

María García (canoeist)

María Isabel García (born 26 March 1978) is a Spanish sprint canoer who competed in the early to mid-2000s. She won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three silvers (K-4 200 m: 2001, 2002, 2003) and four bronzes (K-4 200 m: 2005, K-4 500 m: 2001, 2002, 2003).

García also competed in two Summer Olympics, earning her best finish of fifth in the K-4 500 m event at Athens in 2004.

María Altagarcia García Cáceres (born 10 August 1987 in La Vega) is a Dominican Republican judoka who competes in the women's 52  kg category. She became the first Dominican judoka to win a world championship medal, with a bronze at the 2006 Junior Championship.

García has twice competed at an Olympic Games. She was eliminated at the quarterfinal stage at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and at the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was defeated in the second round. She has won silver medals at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and 2007 Pan American Judo Championships, and bronze at the 2007 Pan American Games, 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, and three editions of the Pan American Judo Championships.
