Mamuša

Mamuša or Mamusha (Albanian: Mamushë or Mamusha; Turkish: Mamuşa; Serbian Cyrillic: Мамуша) is a town in Kosovo. In 2008 it became a municipality. Prior to that it was part of Prizren municipality. Of all municipal units in Kosovo, this one is by far the smallest in terms of area, with only 11 km² (4 sq mi). According to the 2011 Census the total population is 5,507.

Location

The town is located on the northern part of Prizren. It also borders Đakovica and Suva Reka.

Population

The town is a primarily ethnic Turkish. It is the only settlement in Kosovo where Turks are a majority.

İmamuşağı

İmamuşağı is a village in Silifke district of Mersin Province, Turkey. The village at 36°18′N 33°46′E / 36.300°N 33.767°E / 36.300; 33.767 is situated in the southern slopes of Toros Mountains. Its distance to Silifke is 20 kilometres (12 mi) and to Mersin is 105 kilometres (65 mi). The population of İmamuşağı is 644 as of 2011. Maim economic activities of the village are farming and animal breeding. Olive and locust are the main crops. İmamuşağı is a mountain village . But it is a dispersed settlement and one of its neighbourhoods named Boğsak is at the sea side. A picturesque hamlet, it is a popular seaside resort for Mersin residents. There are also popular beaches and historical castles around Boğsak.
