two weeks and i'm pacing the floor,
saying "pull it together boy, pull it together."
i know you said you don't love me anymore,
but never say never girl, never say never.
it took too long
for me to realize i was looking at it all wrong.
and you were right,
i was trying to run, i was trying to hide.
but this is my one chance to make it right.
sophie, baby,
i know exactly where we went wrong.
sophie, maybe,

three weeks and my head is getting sore,
but pull it together boy, pull it together.
you always seem to leave me begging you for more,
but you never deliver, girl, you never deliver.
it took too long
for me to realize i was looking at it all wrong.
but now i know,
that i don't want to hide, that i want it to show.
i only get one shot so here we go:
sophie, baby,
i know exactly where we went wrong.
sophie, maybe,
give me one more chance to stop you from moving on.
i'm sorry for what never happened.
i never should've let you go.
but i am ready now to try and make it right,
to tell you what you've always known.
sophie, baby,
i know exactly where we went wrong.
sophie, maybe,
give me one more chance to stop you from moving on.
sophie, baby,
i know exactly where we went wrong.
sophie, maybe,
