Nude (Charis, Santa Monica) is a photograph taken by Edward Weston in 1936. It shows an apparently nude woman with her arms wrapped around her legs while she sits on a blanket in bright sunlight against a darkened doorway. The dynamic balance of the light and dark accentuate the curves and angles of the woman's body; at the same time her face and all but the slightest hint of her pubic area are hidden from view, requiring the viewer to concentrate on her arms, legs, feet and hands. It is an image of a nude that concentrates solely on the forms of the body rather than the sexuality. The model was his muse and assistant, Charis Wilson, whom he married a year later.
The Great Depression years of the early 1930s were hard on Weston, who, in spite of his relative fame, struggled to make ends meet. In early 1935 he closed his studio in Glendale and moved into a house with his three sons Brett, Cole and Kim at 446 Mesa Road in Santa Monica, California. The house was a modest two-bedroom bungalow, with not much personal space for the four of them. Even so, later that year he asked Wilson to join him, and she soon moved in. All five managed to live in the same space for several years.

Love is the third studio album by alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves. It was released on February 12, 2010 on Fuel TV, and on February 14 on Modlife. The album was released free of charge due to "corporate underwriting". A "special edition" hard copy version of the album was scheduled for release on March 22, 2011, along with a second disc containing new music from the band. This was announced at a Q & A for the movie, which stated that it would be pushed back to Fall of 2011.
On January 12, 2010, the band released a promotional video entitled "C:\Transmission_Love", which contained a short preview of The Flight of Apollo.
In May 2009, it was announced that the album would be released on Christmas Day. However, on July 19, 2009, DeLonge announced via Modlife that the album will not be released on Christmas Day as previously planned, and instead will be released on Valentine's Day. The album was released free of charge through Modlife on Valentine's Day 2010.
Love is the first solo Edyta Bartosiewicz album. However, she doesn't identify herself with the lyrical content as, in her own words, she considers it to be "too womanlike and pastel, and I'm not always like this". It's been recorded entirely in English and has reached gold status in Poland. Although released by Chrisalis for British market, it failed to make an impact on broader audience. Edyta received the Amber Nightingale award at 1992 Sopot Festival for this album, although her performance wasn't favorably received, likely due to English character of the songs, her performing in a Polish Artist category.
Mambo is the fifth studio album by Spanish duo Azúcar Moreno, released on CBS-Epic in 1991.
The duo's two previous studio albums Carne De Melocotón and Bandido had resulted in the release of two remix albums, Mix in Spain and The Sugar Mix Album. Mambo was their first studio album on which the influences from contemporary dance music genres like house music, R&B and hip hop were fully integrated in the original production; the track "Feria" even saw the sisters making their debut as rappers. The album was also the first not to be entirely recorded in Spain or predominantly produced by their longtime collaborator Julio Palacios - it had no less than ten producers.
The lead single "Torero!", although as typically flamenco-flavoured as their international breakthrough single "Bandido", was in fact written and produced by Englishmen Nick Fisher and Garry Hughes and German Zeus B. Held and was recorded in London. Fisher and Hughes have since gone on to collaborate with numerous artists in the electronica/experimental/world music genres under the moniker Echo System, including Björk, The Shamen, Salif Keita, Garbage and Pop Will Eat Itself. "Torero!" was in 1992 covered in Turkish under the title "Yetti Artik" ("That's it" in Turkish) by Tarkan, one of Turkey's biggest stars both domestically and internationally. The song was included on his debut album Yine Sensiz ("Again without you" in Turkish).
The Bologna Museum of Modern Art (MAMbo, or Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna) is a purpose-designed centre of modern and experimental art, located in the centre of Bologna, Italy.
Now an independent entity, the Bologna Museum of Modern Art was originally one of the three museums that came under the aegis of the Bologna Gallery of Modern Art, founded in 1925; the other two being the Modern Art Gallery at Villa delle Rose and the Morandi Museum in the city's main square, Piazza Maggiore.
The Bologna Museum of Modern Art came into existence as a separate entity in the 1990s, when the Modern Art Gallery's collections had grown so large by acquisition and bequest that new premises needed to be found for its contemporary art collection and exhibitions.
Sassoli de Bianchi formulated a bold programme that has repositioned the museum with a precise cultural role not just in Bologna but in Italy. The project brought the museum purpose-designed new premises within the shell of an extensive former industrial bakery in Bologna's city centre and a new corporate identity and name, or rather acronym, as MAMbo. Above all, however, it tightened the museum’s focus from contemporary art in general to experimental art in particular - a focus rare in Italy, yet rooted in Bologna's artistic and university heritage.
I tear the shrink wrap off,
And put the needle down,
Fill my bedroom up with a Cash song,
And crank it up loud,
Because it makes me feel good,
Got the pedal pecked hard,
And the Mustang drive,
Horses screamin' at me,
Momma prayin' that I'll make it home alive,
But it makes me feel good,
Like sneakin'out late,
Tellin'white lies,
Stealin' one more kiss tonight.
I try my best to behave,
And I can't help feelin' this way,
It's not my fault so don't blame me,
'Cause love makes me
And is it some kind of fiction?
Or the sweetest addiction?
Sowhat if I'm crazy,
'Cause love makes me do it,
Love makes me do it,
Yes it does.
Well it don't take much,
I'm a sucker for the little things,
Like the touch on my hand,
And the sweet way she leans into me,
Yeah, it makes me feel good,
Yeah, it's a buzz how much I'm into this,
No I can't get enough,
Gotta have more than just one kiss
'Cause it feels so good,
Yeah, watchin' her sleep, Stayin up all night,
Ridin' this heavenly high.
I try my best to behave,
And I can't help feelin' this way,
It's not my fault so don't blame me,
'Cause love makes me
And is it some kind of fiction?
Or the sweetest addiction?
So what if I'm crazy,
'Cause love makes me do it,
Oh! Love makes me do it.
I love so hard you think I'm stupid,
But it's a fight that I don't mind losin',
I try my best to behave,
And I can't help feelin' this way,
It's not my fault so don't blame me,
'Cause love makes me
And is it some kind of fiction?
Or the sweetest addiction?
Sowhat if I'm crazy,
'Cause love makes me do it,
I try my best to behave,
And I can't help feelin' this way,
It's not my fault so don't blame me,
'Cause love makes me
And is it some kind of fiction?
Or the sweetest addiction?
So what if I'm crazy,
