Magic Eye 01

Magic eye 01 is a medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), manufactured according to NATO standards, used for remote as well as day-and-night observation.

Specifications

The Magic Eye 01 weighs in at 40kgs, has and operational radio range of 100 to 200 km, top speed is 200 km/h and a flying time of 6 hours.

Co-operational Agreement

In Hanoi on November 20, 2012, the Vietnam Aerospace Association (VASA) and Unmanned Group from Sweden signed an agreement on the cooperation in manufacturing unmanned aircraft (UAV), called the Magic eye 01. The agreement is worked out in 3 phases, if all goes to plan Vietnam will become the latest of countries (around 40) to use UAV's.

Under phase 1 of the agreement, the Unmanned Group will transfer their entire manufacturing technologies for the Magic eye 01 (including the intellectual property rights) to Vietnam with the aim that Vietnam will be able to build two working Magic Eye 01's and in the future be the manufacturer and exporter for this aircraft.

Eye

Eyes are the organs of vision. They detect light and convert it into electro-chemical impulses in neurons. In higher organisms, the eye is a complex optical system which collects light from the surrounding environment, regulates its intensity through a diaphragm, focuses it through an adjustable assembly of lenses to form an image, converts this image into a set of electrical signals, and transmits these signals to the brain through complex neural pathways that connect the eye via the optic nerve to the visual cortex and other areas of the brain. Eyes with resolving power have come in ten fundamentally different forms, and 96% of animal species possess a complex optical system. Image-resolving eyes are present in molluscs, chordates and arthropods.

The simplest "eyes", such as those in microorganisms, do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark, which is sufficient for the entrainment of circadian rhythms. From more complex eyes, retinal photosensitive ganglion cells send signals along the retinohypothalamic tract to the suprachiasmatic nuclei to effect circadian adjustment and to the pretectal area to control the pupillary light reflex.

Higher Learning

Higher Learning is a 1995 American drama film written and directed by John Singleton, and starring an ensemble cast. The film follows the changing lives of three incoming freshmen at the fictional Columbus University: Malik Williams (Omar Epps), a black track star who struggles with academics; Kristen Connor (Kristy Swanson), a shy and naive girl; and Remy (Michael Rapaport), a lonely and confused man seemingly out of place in his new environment.

The film also featured Tyra Banks' first performance in a theatrical film. Laurence Fishburne won an NAACP Image Award for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture"; Ice Cube was also nominated for the award. This was the last film appearance of Dedrick D. Gobert, who was shot dead in 1994 prior to the film's release.

The exterior shots and outdoor scenes were shot on the campus of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) while the interiors were shot at Sony Pictures Studios.

Plot

At (fictitious) Columbus University, students Malik Williams, a black track athlete, Kristen Connor, a white woman, and Remy, a white man, are starting their freshman year.

Magic (B'z album)

Magic is the seventeenth studio album released by Japanese hard rock band B'z on November 18, 2009. A limited edition was released featuring a bonus DVD with the video "Magical Backstage Tour 2009" (videos of recording sessions, live footage of their performance at Summer Sonic 09 and more).

It was preceded by two singles: "Ichibu to Zenbu/Dive" and "My Lonely Town." "Ichibu to Zenbu" was used as the Fuji Television drama Buzzer Beat's theme song, and "Dive" was used as a CM song for the Suzuki Swift advertising campaign. The album track "Pray" served as the theme to the Japanese film Tajomaru, which was released to Japanese theaters in September 2009. On the release date of the album, it was reported that another album track, "Long Time No See," would serve as the theme to Salaryman Kintaro 2, which is set to begin airing in January 2010 on TV Asahi.

Magic debuted at No. 1 on the Japanese Oricon weekly album charts with its initial week sales of around 341,000 copies. The album became their 24th number-one album on Oricon charts. The album is also certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for shipment of 500,000 copies.

    • 32-bit integer audio
    • 32-bit floating point audio
    • 24-bit integer audio with 4-bit channel status and 4-bit channel command
    • 32-bit raw data
  • 32-bit integer audio
  • 32-bit floating point audio
  • 24-bit integer audio with 4-bit channel status and 4-bit channel command
  • 32-bit raw data
  • Supports line network topology, star topology, and a combination of the two

    Magic Eye

    by: Primal Fear

    What the future will bring
    Mankind doesn't know
    The fate decides your destiny
Like a claw out of the dark
If clouds will make the day to night
Or the sun lights up your day
Will you be a lucky man
Or will you live in tragedy?
    That doesn't touch me
    I'm able to understand
    I have the power
I sold the key in my hand
I see the truth behind the lie
Because I own the magic eye
The endless wisdom will never die
I've got the power, the magic eye
    Envy and deception as long
As men live on this earth
    The leaders of the nations
    What is their final aim?
    Can you recognize
What's truth and what is lie?
    Can you distinguish
    Who's friend, who's enemy?
    That doesn't touch me
    I'm able to understand
    I have the power
I sold the key in my hand
I see the truth behind the lie
Because I own the magic eye
The endless wisdom will never die
