Madness is the fourth full-length studio album by American post-hardcore band Sleeping with Sirens. The album was released on March 13, 2015 through Epitaph Records. The entire album was self-produced by Sleeping with Sirens with John Feldmann. The album is the band's first release following their departure from Rise Records in 2014. It's also the first record to feature guitarist Nick Martin (Cinematic Sunrise) who replaced former guitarist Jesse Lawson. Madness was preceded by lead single "Kick Me" as well as a string of digital singles released in the days leading up to the album's release. The album continues the band's progression to a more pop rock sound, but retains some post-hardcore influences on tracks.
Following the release of the band's third studio album, Feel (2013), they toured extensively worldwide in support of the album. In early 2014, the band entered the studio in Nashville, Tennessee and recorded 13 tracks with Nick Raskulinecz, however later scrapped them and recorded new material for a fourth album in Los Angeles, California. The band recorded a total of 15 new tracks with producer John Feldmann. Quinn explains, "We just planned on going to Feldmann to do 2 or 3 songs and after we got in there, I'm like, 'we're gonna re-do this whole thing." The two bonus tracks, "Parasites" and "2 Chord" were produced by Raskulinecz.
Madness is the eighth album from Australian singer/songwriter Guy Sebastian. The album was released on 21 November 2014. It debuted at number six on the ARIA Charts, Sebastian's eighth top ten album in Australia, and has been certified gold. Four top 20 singles have been released from the album: "Like a Drum", "Come Home with Me", "Mama Ain't Proud" featuring 2 Chainz and "Linger" which features Lupe Fiasco. Sebastian was nominated for two ARIA Music Awards in 2014, Best Male Artist for "Come Home with Me" and Song of the Year for "Like a Drum".
Sebastian wrote the songs for Madness with a number of different songwriters, with the exception of "Elephant", "Alive" and "One of Us" which he wrote alone. The album is eclectic, with a mixture of soul, R&B and pop songs. Sebastian said the writing of the album took two years. In an interview with BMag he said "I didn’t go into a cabin in the woods for six weeks and write my album, so there’s not that similar, one vibe on the album – it’s quite diverse." He believes it is his most soulful album, and that he was getting back to his roots of what he likes to listen to and write. Sebastian says the songs touch on the little moments in life, including ordinary moments. "There are a couple about how mundane life can be. You get so caught up in the machine of work, trying to keep up with life, your mortgage and kids, that you get lost in it a little bit."
Stratovarius is a Finnish power metal band that formed in 1984. Since their formation, they have released 16 studio albums, 4 DVD and 3 live albums. Along with German bands Helloween, Blind Guardian, and Gamma Ray, Stratovarius is considered one of the leading and most influential groups of the power metal genre. In its history, the band has gone through many chaotic lineup changes and since 1995 there are no founding members of the band that remain. Currently, the longest standing member is singer Timo Kotipelto, who joined in 1994.
Stratovarius was founded as Black Water in August 1984 by singer and drummer Tuomo Lassila, guitarist Staffan Stråhlman, and bassist John Vihervä. Line-up changes soon started to occur, including Timo Tolkki replacing Stråhlman two months later and taking over singing duties as well, and the band expanding to a quintet with the arrival of keyboarist Antti Ikonen the following year. Under this line-up, the band released its first album Fright Night in 1989, with Tolkki acting as sole composer. While various changes of bassist occurred, the band released the albums Twilight Time (1992) and Dreamspace (1994). In 1994, Tolkki decided to stop acting as lead vocalist, with Timo Kotipelto joining the band. After the release of Fourth Dimension in 1995, last remaining founding member Lassila, as well as Ikonen, left the band and were respectively replaced by Jörg Michael and Jens Johansson respectively.
Midnight is a fantasy novel, the first book in Erin Hunter's Warriors: The New Prophecy series. Following The Darkest Hour and Firestar's Quest, and preceding Moonrise, it was released May 10, 2005. The novel centers on a group of feral cats living in four Clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan.
More than a year has passed since the previous book, [The Darkest Hour (Warriors)]. Bramblepaw, Tigerstar's son, has received his warrior name, Brambleclaw. Firestar has had two kits with Sandstorm, named Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw. Squirrelpaw is apprenticed to Dustpelt, and Leafpaw is apprenticed to Cinderpelt, to train to become the next medicine cat of ThunderClan. While Leafpaw and Cinderpelt search for herbs, StarClan, the cats' ancestors, sends Cinderpelt an ominous warning in some burning bracken, a picture of a tiger running through fire, which she interprets to mean that fire and tiger will destroy the forest. Cinderpelt concludes that the warning must be about Squirrelpaw and Brambleclaw, the daughter of Firestar and the son of Tigerstar, respectively. They share the warning with Firestar, who later decides to keep Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw separated.

He's crawling out from the asylum,
Under cover of the night.
Insanity of his crazy mind,
It's useless for you now to hide.
Walking the streets someone's in sight.
He's waiting for you in the night.
Hiding the shadows,
Hiding the alleys
He's ready to kill tonight.
So lock your doors and hide
And prey your God 'cause you're not alone.
Years he spent in the cage, They did not help him at all.
Now today with the power of his rage, He's slaughtering people tonight.
Walking the streets someone's in sight, He's waiting for you in the night.
Hiding the shadows,
Hiding the alleys
He's ready to kill tonight.
So lock your...
Madness strikes at midnight
