M-22

M-22 is a British-German DJ and producer duo consisting of Matt James and Frank Sanders. On March 22 the duo met, through a joint production, which is the reason for their stage name.

History

At the age of 14, Matt James begins creating his own sounds. Just two years later, he is playing along Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez at the Syndicate Blackpool. Shortly after Ministry Of Sound signs him up as a writer/producer. Henceforth, James writes and produces songs for artists such as H Two O. Also the German-Dutch Frank Sanders can celebrate some achievements as a producer and songwriter before M-22. Sanders wrote and produced songs for Jason Derulo and Armanda Wilson.

On March 22, the duo met during a joint production for Sony Music in Canada. James and Sanders likes each other instantly and produce on the same day their first single "Good To Be Loved".

In April 2015, M-22 published the track "Sometime" which peaked in the UK Club Chart at #6. The song was selected by the Sarah-Jane Crawford Show (BBC1 Xtra) as "Record Of The Week ". Their debut single was released on 22 May 2015 and reached in iTunes Top 50 of the Chart. On EDM.com the song made it to #5 on the Chart. Several DJ support the track. Tiësto, Don Diablo and Robin Schulz played the song several times in their radio shows.

M 22

M 22 (short for Mouvement 22 de fevrier, 'February 22 Movement') was a political movement in Congo-Brazzaville. It was active in 1972 and 73 before its guerrilla base was compromised and most of its cadre arrested including its leader Ange Diawara.

In 1976 some M 22 members were reincorporated into public life and appointed in positions of power after a pardon by Congo leader, Ngouabi. M22 remained a force in the countries politics until the 1989 party congress when all M 22 presence was removed from the Central Committee.

History

Rebellion

M 22 emerged from the left-wing of the governing Congolese Party of Labour (PCT). The movement was violently suppressed, and the purges against accused associates of the movement had a profound impact on Congolese politics. A majority of the political cadres of the country were purged in the anti-M 22 campaign.

The movement was formed by followers of Ange Diawara, a leader of the left-wing faction of the Congolese Party of Labour, who had led a failed coup attempt against the government of Marien Ngouabi on February 22, 1972. The movement gathered a grouping of former youth militias of the National Movement of the Revolution. After the uprising had been quashed, Diawara and his followers regrouped and formed a guerrilla base in the Pool region. Diawara borrowed inspiration from Che Guevara and the Union of the Peoples of Cameroon. The name 'M 22' was taken from the document Autocritique du M 22 ('Self-criticism of M 22', authored by Diawara), which was circulated clandestinely in Brazzaville. Parallel to the rural guerrilla movement a clandestine urban opposition network (consisting of student activists and militaries) developed, also under the direction of Diawara.

Fi₂₂ is one of the 26 sporadic groups and is the smallest of the three Fischer groups. It was introduced by Bernd Fischer (1971, 1976) while investigating 3-transposition groups.

The outer automorphism group has order 2, and the Schur multiplier has order 6.

Representations

The Fischer group Fi₂₂ has a rank 3 action on a graph of 3510 vertices corresponding to its 3-transpositions, with point stabilizer the double cover of the group PSU₆(2). It also has two rank 3 actions on 14080 points, exchanged by an outer automorphism.

Fi₂₂ has an irreducible real representation of dimension 78. Reducing an integral form of this mod 3 gives a representation of Fi₂₂ over the field with 3 elements, whose quotient by the 1-dimensional space of fixed vectors is a 77-dimensional irreducible representation.

The perfect triple cover of Fi₂₂ has an irreducible representation of dimension 27 over the field with 4 elements. This arises from the fact that Fi₂₂ is a subgroup of ²E₆(2²). All the ordinary and modular character tables of Fi₂₂ have been computed. Hiss & White (1994) found the 5-modular character table,and Noeske (2007) found the 2- and 3-modular character tables.
