M&G Investments

M&G is an investment manager in the UK and overseas. It is an autonomous business within the Prudential Group, running its own retail and institutional funds operation and functioning as the asset manager for Prudential in Europe. Currently M&G is the official sponsor of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show M&G invests in and manages a wide range of assets including Equities, Fixed Income and Property. M&G also manages more esoteric assets within the private finance arena such as Structured Products (including CDOs), Leveraged Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance.

History

Municipal & General Securities Company Limited launched the first ever UK unit trust in 1931, the First British Fixed Trust. The fund was wound up in 1951.

In April 2012, they ran six of the top ten largest UK funds.

International presence

M&G manages assets on behalf of a wide range of investors across UK, Europe, Asia, the Americas and South Africa.

Sălişte (German: Großendorf or Selischte; Hungarian: Szelistye) is a town in Sibiu County in the centre of Romania, 21 km west of the county capital, Sibiu, the main locality in the Mărginimea Sibiului area.

Geography

The town is situated at the edge of the Cindrel Mountains, on a series of river valleys which flow into the Cibin River in the South part of the Transylvanian Plateau. The main town of Sălişte has a population of 2,830; it also administers nine villages:

Moto G (2nd generation)

The second-generation Moto G (marketed as simply Moto G) is an Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility. Released on September 6, 2014, it is a successor to the original Moto G released in 2013. The phone was initially aimed at developing markets, although it is also available in developed markets as a lower-cost option compared to other phones in its class.

Release and availability

The phone was unveiled along with the second generation Moto X, Moto 360, and Moto Hint in India and the U.S. at their respective events on 5 September 2014. It has U.S. pricing of US$179.99 with no contract for the 8 GB version. This phone was launched in India on Flipkart on September 5, 2014 with sales beginning at midnight. Only the 16 GB dual SIM variant of this phone is available in India with the model number XT1068 priced at ₹12,999.

As of January 2015, a 4G 16GB variant was made available in Brazil only. The 4G chip on this model is not compatible with all countries. It has many of the same specifications as the 3G variant, including screen, cameras, dual SIM capability, MicroSD expansion and processor, though it comes standard with Android Lollipop 5.0.2, has a larger 2,390mAh battery and a minimum 16GB of storage (depending on purchase). As of March 2015, the LTE variant (XT1072) was available in the UK.
