Lucky 7 (band)

Lucky 7 was an American pop punk band from San Diego, California. They formed in 1997 and the next year independently released their first record, titled Miss Fortune. After touring with bands such as Goo Goo Dolls, New Found Glory, Something Corporate, and Allister, and receiving internet notice created by their high download rate at MP3.com, Lucky 7 signed with Shock Records/Omega Records, where they released their self-titled label-debut in 2002. The group disbanded in 2003.

Shortly after, Allen Colaneri joined Lances Hero, which later broke up. Allen Colaneri leads a group called ItalianJapanese. Robert Garbowski plays drums in a band called Sweettooth. Jared Hren currently plays in the LA based drum group Street Drum Corps, a "Stomp-like" percussion group. Hren also plays drums in the US lineup of Guana Batz. Darin Brookner moved to Las Vegas and became a full-time English teacher at Bishop Gorman High School, where he teaches freshman and juniors. Steven Press moved to Colorado and is employed as a law enforcement officer in the Denver area.

Plot

Amy Myer (Kimberly Williams) is a woman whose dying mother (Gail O'Grady) made out a timeline for Amy's life and predicted she would marry her seventh boyfriend. But when she falls head over heels for her sixth boyfriend Daniel McCandles (Brad Rowe), she decides to find another sixth boyfriend to dump in order to marry Daniel. She settles on Peter Connor (Patrick Dempsey), a local bagel shop owner who is in love with her. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned when Amy realizes that she has feelings for Peter.

Lucky 7 (TV series)

Lucky 7 is an American drama television series that ran from September 24, to October 1, 2013, on ABC as part of the 2013–14 American television season. The one-hour series is based on the British television show The Syndicate, which was created by Kay Mellor. ABC placed a series order on May 10, 2013. The pilot episode earned only 1.3 rating in the 18- to 49-year-old demographic, making Lucky 7 the lowest rated fall drama premiere in ABC history.

On October 4, 2013, ABC canceled the series due to low ratings. It was the first show of the 2013–14 season to be canceled. As of now, ABC is still uncertain if it will air the remaining episodes.

On September 25, 2014, ABC released all the episodes produced on iTunes, which were a total of 8 episodes.

Premise

A group of seven gas station employees in Queens, New York City, play the lottery every week and dream about what they would do with the winnings. When they do finally hit the jackpot, the coworkers learn that money may solve some problems, but it creates new ones.
