Lu Yi (born January 6, 1976) is a Chinese actor and singer. He graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1999. Lu Yi started his actor life when he was five years old. In year of 1999, he rose to fame because of the TV series, Never Dies Content. Over the next several years after his 1999 debut in Never Dies Content, he took part in numerous TV series and films, such as Boy&Girl,Confucius, etc. Lu Yi married actress Bo Lei (鲍蕾) in 2006. After three years, their daughter, Lu Yu Xuan( Bei Er )was born.
Lu Yi was born in Shanghai, a common family. He began his life as an actor when he was a child. However, he was not well-known at that time. Lu Yi played a role in move "Spring Ding-dong" when he was five years old. From age five to eighteen, he had an average one to two movies each year. In Grade 8, Lu began to learn Peking Opera and Chinese Kung Fu. After three years, he took part in more than 700 dramas. After a long period of time to hone, he joined the TV series crew, Never Dies Content, in 1999. Lu Yi became one of the top actors in China.
