Let Me

"Let Me" is a song written by Marc Beeson and Danny Orton, and recorded by American country music singer Pat Green. It was released in June 2008 as the lead-off single from his album What I'm For, which was released on January 27, 2009. The song peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, becoming his second highest-charting single, behind 2003's "Wave on Wave", which peaked at #3.

"Let Me" is a mid-tempo ballad in which the narrator promises to offer emotional support to the one that he loves.

Describing the song in a cut-by-cut synopsis of the album on Sony BMG Nashville's website, Green said that he liked the melody of the chorus (which contains multiple repetitions of the same note). He also said that the song drew his attention because it was a love song that did not explicitly use the word "love".

Reception

The song received a "thumbs down" review from the country music site Engine 145. Reviewer Brady Vercher criticized the song for being overproduced and trying to "garner radio success than pushing both [Green's and the producer's] boundaries to create something worthwhile." He also thought that vocally, Green got "lost" in the song and was unable to add any personality to the delivery.Washington Post critic Chris Richards said that Green's vocal delivery did not "sit right" in the "slow-burn" of the song, and Joey Guerra of the Houston Chronicle called it "stock country loverboy stuff."

Valotte

Valotte is the debut pop studio album by singer-songwriter Julian Lennon. The album was produced by Phil Ramone and recorded at several studios from February to August 1984. It was released in October 1984 on Charisma and Atlantic. The album was first certified gold in the United States, in the new year, then shortly afterwards being certified platinum. From the album, four singles were released, each with a music video, charting at various positions on the singles charts in both the United Kingdom and US. "Too Late for Goodbyes", the second US single, and "Valotte", the first US single, were both US Billboard Top 10 hits, the former reaching number 5 and the latter reaching number 9. The album peaked at number 17 and 20 in the US and UK, respectively. In early 1985, a few months after the release of the album, Lennon went on tour around the US, Australia, and Japan from March to June 1985.

The song was a multi-format success, peaking in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at #6 and at #13 on the R&B chart. On the Adult Contemporary singles charts, "Love or Let Me Lonely" went to #9. The song is ranked as the 63rd biggest hit of 1970.

Time is the third album released by Australian singer-songwriter Peter Andre.

Background

Following the success of his previous album, Mushroom Records offered Andre an extended record deal, allowing him to record another album on the label. The album was released on 14 November 1997 and became Andre's last album on Mushroom Records, which saw his departure from the music industry for seven years. This was reportedly due to poor sales of the album and its singles. The album featured several collaborations, and spawned three singles: "All About Us", "Lonely" and "All Night, All Right." The album was certified Gold, with sales of over 100,000 copies in the UK.

Jana Kramer

Jana Rae Kramer (born December 2, 1983) is an American actress and country music singer. She is best known for her role as Alex Dupre on the television series One Tree Hill. Kramer began a country music career in 2012 with the single "Why Ya Wanna" from her self-titled debut album for Elektra Records.

Early life

Kramer was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan, United States, to Nora and Martin Kramer. She is of German Chilean, Croatian and French ancestry. Jana has one brother Steve who is a police officer. Jana attended Rochester Adams High School. She speaks some German.

Career

2002–11: acting career and record deal

In 2002, Kramer made her acting debut in the low-budget independent horror film Dead/Undead. The following year Kramer guest appeared on All My Children, which marked Kramer's television debut. Kramer has since continued to appear in a number of television shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and CSI: NY. She has also had small supporting roles in films such as Click, Prom Night and Spring Breakdown.
