Love Song or Lovesong may also refer to:
"Lovesong" (sometimes listed as "Love Song") is a song originally recorded by the English alternative rock band The Cure, released as the third single from their eighth studio album Disintegration in 1989. The song saw considerable success in the United States, where it was a number two hit (blocked by Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much") and the band's only top ten entry on the Billboard Hot 100; in the United Kingdom, the single charted at number 18.
Though the song has been covered by several artists, the most famous and successful cover is the 2004 version by American rock band 311, recorded for the soundtrack for the film 50 First Dates and also released as a single. This song was also performed by Adele on her 2011 album 21.
Upon release as a single, the song received worldwide success, and first peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the group's most successful single in the US to date. The song also charted at #2 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, #27 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #18 on the UK Singles Chart. Robert Smith originally wrote the song for his long-time girlfriend and then fiancée, Mary, as a wedding present.
Story or stories may refer to:
The Story are an English psychedelic folk duo comprising former Forest member Martin Welham and his son Tom Welham. The pair write and record melodic songs that range from psychedelic pop to stream-of-consciousness folk and play an array of predominantly acoustic instruments as a backdrop to their blend of vocal harmonies.
Martin Welham was part of the influential 1960's acid folk trio Forest. In the early 2000s, thirty years after Forest disbanded, he formed Somerset based band The Story with his son Tom and returned to recording music. The duo's sound has echoes of Martin's earlier work with authentic psychedelic songwriting at its core.
The band's first release was a 2005 vinyl split album, The Dawn Is Crowned, with Californian freak folk band Whysp on Good Village Records. The Story's side features five broadly acoustic tracks that blend esoteric, dark imagery with powerful vocal harmonies resulting in an un-attributable psychedelic air.
In 2006 the band released their first full-length album Tale Spin on Sunbeam Records - the first contemporary artists released by the label. This psychedelic folk pop album features acoustic guitars, keyboards and light percussion combined with airy harmony vocals and wistful melodies.
Bryon Anthony McCane II (born September 12, 1976), better known by his stage name Bizzy Bone, AKA Li'l Ripsta, is an American rapper and the youngest member of the Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
Bryon Anthony McCane was born in Columbus, Ohio. In 1980, 4-year-old Bryon and his two sisters were abducted and held captive for over two years by his stepfather. Both his sisters were natural children of Bryon's stepfather. The children were put into the backseat of a car and driven off, while their mother was at work. He says that at first, he did not know he had been kidnapped, and was made to believe that his mother and grandmother were dead. During his abduction period, he lived in many homes, apartments, cars and motels, all in Northern Oklahoma. He was often beaten, tortured, and sexually assaulted. In 1983, the "family" had been living on the Kaw Indian Reservation in Kaw, Oklahoma for about a year-and-a-half. A neighbor saw his photo at the end of the made-for-TV movie, Adam, and called the police, resulting in his return to his family.
As we stand before the judge, it's over now
Can't even get my name and go on somehow
It’s my time to sign on the dotted line
The spark came in my head before the ink dried
I'm getting up my (Damn)
Knowing I don't give a damn for this single life
Eleven months with you, I'm tripping cause it's through
I'm standing here looking at you
Bridge:
There ain’t no more, ghetto love
No more, breaking up
No more, making up
No more, waking you up
No more, things you hate
No more, holidays
No more, need to celebrate
No more, goodnight baby
Chorus:
You wanted half, just take it all
Cause it doesn't even matter anymore
We didn't last, cause now you're gone
Just take everything, everything, everything
You wanted half, you can have it all
What the hell am I gon' do with just half of you
Girl you can keep, even both rings
Just take, everything, everything, everything
I don't want the house, I'm moving out
Can't stand staying here without you around
All of the cars, I will sell them but just one, I will mail them
And as for the kids, I get weekends
Baby I ain't even mad, I wish you well
And I'll be wrong to tell you to go to hell
Cause you're still the one I love, we're just giving up
Guess it's best for us, can't help how it hurts
Bridge:
There ain't no more honey combs
No more, Oprah's on
No more, Looney Tunes
No more, Southpark with you
No more, the phone's for me
No more, did the doorbell ring
No more, can you come get me
No more, there's no more baby
Chorus:
You wanted half, just take it all
Cause it doesn't even matter anymore
We didn't last, cause now you're gone
Just take everything, everything, everything
You wanted half, you can have it all
What the hell am I gon' do with just half of you
Girl you can keep, even both rings
Just take, everything, everything, everything
And if this is divorce, I don't want a war
I don't want to fight with you no more
Take everything, you can have everything
Material things, your last
Chorus: (x4)
You wanted half, just take it all
Cause it doesn't even matter anymore
We didn't last, cause now you're gone
Just take everything, everything, everything
You wanted half, you can have it all
What the hell am I gon' do with just half of you
Girl you can keep, even both rings
Just take, everything, everything, everything
