A love song is a song about being in love, falling in love, heartbreak upon the ending of a loving relationship, and the feelings that these experiences bring. A comprehensive list of even the best known performers and composers of love songs would be a large order.

Love songs have been around for centuries and can be found in the histories and cultures of most societies, though their ubiquity is a modern phenomenon.
A highly controversial and startling explanation of the genesis of love songs can be found in Denis de Rougemont's "Love in the Western World". De Rougemont's thesis is that love songs grew out of the courtly love songs of the troubadours, and that those songs represented a rejection of the historical Christian notion of love.
Identities of love songs change from time to time, from the decade of love in the '70s, through night partying in the '80s, and into dark romance of the '90s. Love songs did not have an identity in the 2000s.

M-Flo
M-Flo (エムフロウ, Emu Furō, stylized as m-flo) is a Japanese hip hop group consisting of producer and DJ Taku Takahashi and emcee Verbal.
Former member Lisa left the group in 2002 to pursue a solo career, and the remaining members then started the M-Flo Loves... project working different vocalists for each song over three albums, including the likes of Bonnie Pink, Koda Kumi and BoA.
Their mainstream success and critical acclaim established them as the most iconic and influential hip-hop production team in Japan with success throughout Asia.
Taku Takahashi and Verbal also started successful side-projects outside of M-Flo, such as the Teriyaki Boyz and Global Astro Alliance collaborating with international producers and artists such as Kanye West and the Beastie Boys.
In 2008 the group announced a hiatus, stating that each member would be focusing on their respective side projects. In 2012 the group ended their hiatus with the release of Square One on March 14, 2012.
History
Before M-Flo
Verbal (born as Ryu Young Gi [Korean: 류영기/유영기, Hanja: 柳榮起]) and Taku Takahashi (高橋 拓, Takahashi Taku) first met as students at St. Mary's International School in Tokyo. The pair collaborated in the group N.M.D., in which Takahashi was drummer and Verbal emceed, as well as throwing dance parties where they often performed together freestyle.
Love Song (M-Flo song)
"Love Song" is M-Flo's twenty-second single under Rhythm Zone. It contains 2 new songs for their next 2007 album, Cosmicolor, a remix of "Lotta Love", and instrumentals. It was released on November 8, 2006. First pressings of the single will include CD-Extra footage of a live "Summer Time Love" performance.
"Love Song" is Bonnie Pink's twenty-sixth single.
