"Love Love, Kiss Kiss" is a song by the Chicago-based punk rock band Alkaline Trio, released as the second single from their 2008 album Agony & Irony. The single was released exclusively as a digital download through online retailers, using an acoustic version of the song rather than the electric version used on the album. It was the band's first album single since 2001 to fail to chart in either the United States or United Kingdom.

Reception

The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 3½ stars stating "The two lengthy improvisations are mostly on one-chord repetitive rhythmic vamps stated by the bass, featuring sound explorations and plenty of electronics. Only on the last half of the second medley does Priester himself emerge a bit from the electronic sounds. One is reminded of Bitches Brew, since that is an obvious influence, but also Hancock's group and Weather Report. The music develops slowly, but listeners with patience will enjoy the blending of the many different voices in this unusual musical stew".

Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave the single 4 out of 5 stars, praising it and stating, "'You bring me right back down to the Earth from the promised land' are the lyrics in the opening bars over mud-squelching synths, while the fat 'n' chunky chorus where they command their lovers to "give me what I need" is immediately satisfying. Like their recent offerings, it's a style that has transformed them from cheesy boyband to tough manband". The Daily Star gave the single a positive review stating that "The boys haven't strayed away from the crunching electro template they employed on Progress, which means another mean, moody stadium shaker [which will] sound ace booming from footy grounds on their upcoming Progress Tour."

The song features vocals and production credits from hip hop recording artist T-Pain, who co-wrote it with Brown. The song was released as the album's second single on September 10, 2007 worldwide. It was later solicited to rhythm crossover radios in the United States on September 11, 2007. "Kiss Kiss" is composed as upbeat chanting record that incorporates elements of R&B and dance music.
